A neighbor had used this guy for major work in their home and highly recommended him and we stupidly trusted their recommendation and hired him to do a few things in our kitchen: install laminate flooring, fix a handful of drywall holes, install 5 recessed light fixtures, and paint the walls and ceiling. Like someone else commented in their review, Kevin has a scam-artist vibe and we should've known better when he didn't provide a DETAILED contract of the work to be performed and the associated cost of the required materials and the labor charges. He only stated the total cost to do everything would be $10,000. We didn't like any of the flooring samples he provided and ended up buying the flooring ourselves and he eventually did cut us a check for what we paid for the flooring. He doesn't actually do any of the work - it's all subcontracted out. The electrician and the painter did great work. The flooring guy was only so-so. He installed unpainted baseboards and left them as is.

This review is long overdue, but Iâ m compelled to share my experience due to the lack of response for warranty work on items that were poorly done. Although I previously agreed not to provide feedback, I now have no choice given the current circumstances. Kevin, the owner of Mission Remodeling, comes across with a scam artist vibe. The project ended up taking three times longer than promised. At one point, he practically begged us for an additional thousand dollars, claiming the job was a financial loss due to the continuous need for redoing poor-quality work. I highly recommend finding an alternative contractor for your project to avoid unnecessary frustration and stress. One alarming detail was that an HVAC technician was assigned to do carpentry workâ highlighting a serious issue with how the project was managed. Additionally, workers often mentioned not being paid properly, which likely contributed to the substandard workmanship. If you choose to work with Mission Remodeling, be prepared for potential delays, lack of communication, extra charges, and unsatisfactory results. Proceed with caution.

Did not complete work as contracted. Attempted to contact owner multiple times but no response. Took more than a year to complete installation of window. Because the owner ordered wrong size of the window, kitchen tiles had to be removed from newly remodeled kitchen. Owner never returned to complete fixing tile and will not respond to my text. Attempted to phone as well but mailbox full and owner never picks up call.

I was very nervous initially when he asked significant down payment but when I told him this, he appreciated my fear and worked payment where I was comfortable. His price was very competitive but it is not the money that can talk, it is rather his professionalism, his crew knowledge, his openess to hear my needs and fear. He warrantee his workmanship for few years but nothing moved that required work. The only thing I needed was smallest job, some caulking dried and shrunk, I called he came and fixed. My kitchen/living areas look beautiful. I strongly recommend him. Ask him to show pictures before and after on my house, it will speak itself. Thank you Kevin, I wish you all the best. Mission Remodeling LLC did an awesome job on our kitchen island and crown molding above our cabinets. I would recommend them- best company Iâ ve worked with thus far!They communicated well, stayed in the time frame given (completed early)and did not go over the budget. Everyone was friendly, timely, respectful and informative about the process.

We were forced to fire another contractor who had been hired to remodel our kitchen but abandoned the project. Kevin, the owner, came in, put together a plan, and got done in 6 weeks what the other guys hadn't managed in 6 months. His crew showed up on time every morning as scheduled, and they were extremely nice as well. We will be forever grateful that we have somewhere to eat once again.

It was so Great from my kitchen remodel to the Beautiful floors being installed,and the great painting of my kitchen,living room,and hall! My kitchen turned out so Beautiful more than I ever expected to be! Kevin helped me every step of the way always going that extra mile to help me make choices that I could have never done on my own! He is a man of his word for sure! And the crew was very respectful of me too! They did a fantastic job! If I have any other work done it will Mission Remodeling that a will reach out to! And in this journey of Remodeling I have made a very special friend in Kevin because he generally cares about his people and the work is undeniably the Best out there! I used Mission Remodeling for some kitchen upgrades. These included: cabinet painting, backsplash demo and install, new countertops, updated sink, and garbage disposal (contract below). During installation, the following issues occurred: wrong size countertop was installed on the island, drywall was overcut during backsplash demo and had to be requested to come back to fix, after painting cabinets, oil/dirt was put on the cabinets and I had to go back and clean newly painted cabinets, hardware was not installed evenly, and painted cabinets appear to have been touched when wet and not fixed. Some of these issues were fixed, others not. After completing the work I noticed that several items under my sink were wet. When inspecting the plumbing, I found that instead of connecting the dishwasher line to the new garbage disposal, the contractor had connected these to an overflow line, without properly placing this. This caused water to be pouring into my cabinets when my left sink basin was used or when the dishwasher was running. I ended up having to fix this myself. In addition to this, Kevin also asked for the final payment before all work was completed.

Kevin worked with me to give me the best price within my budget for my kitchen remodel. I could have paid a little less with another company but its doubtful that I would have gotten the personal attention and quality. And his team of installers really knew their stuff as well as being friendly and courteous! I initially chose Mission because it was a local business and I was not disappointed with the results! I still can't believe its my kitchen!!! Highly recommended!

Absolutely Amazing! Mission Remodeling exceeded our expectations on our kitchen remodeling after having a year wasted due to an awful experience with another company. The attention to detail and professionalism of the entire team was exemplary. Our remodel was completed with no issues or complaints. Each time we show our new kitchen the first word is Amazing. We consider Kevin Lockwood and his team family. When they say “anything is possible,” it’s true. They are the real deal and highly recommended.

The Mission Remodeling team was incredible. I'm not going to get into all the details of our kitchen remodel, powder room remodel, and family room update because that would take pages. I just want to say that they were dedicated professionals who really cared; were patient with us on making countertop, backsplash, and paint choices; exhibited true craftsmanship; and it was a pleasure to have them working on our home. It's been a few weeks since the job was completed and each day when we see the new rooms we still can't believe how remarkable it all looks and how happy we are with it.

The very best company I have ever done business with. Very attentive to my many questions, changes, etc. The project manager and workers were courteus and so respectful. I ð ð ð MY REMODELED KITCHEN! Great job! Great team! We are extremely happy with our kitchen and family room remodeling. We selected Kevin and his company from several bids because we felt that they would deliver what we were looking for. I also feel that communication with the customer is key to a good result.. This proved to be especially important since I had to leave on a family emergency as the project was just beginning. Kevin was almost daily communicating with me while I was out of state and he worked with my family members here at home. Paul the foreman was amazing and his attention to detail recommendable. The entire project took approximately three weeks The outcome is awesome, we love our new family room and new kitchen. The kitchen remodel included new flooring, new lighting and new cabinets. We also had a partial wall removed and a bench built in the bay window. I highly recommend this company and are prepared to hire them in the future for additional projects. Thank you Mission Remodel

Mission Remodeling did a great job on our kitchen remodel and flooring for our kitchen, living room and dining room. Kevin came up with suggestions that saved us time and money. The other bids we had seemed to try and add expenses to the job. Kevin cares about your job and looks for ways to make things less complicated to save time and money. The master craftsmen did a stellar job on our custom projects. We had a wall oven and microwave taken out; the master carpenter created a custom cabinet from the pieces to fit our new range and microwave/vent. You would never know it wasn’t original. The new floor planking had to connect through a tricky archway and once again, they were spot on. Electrical work included running new wiring down to the basement to correct and update to code, and hung new lighting. New granite counters with extra width went in without a hitch along with a new sink installation. Walls were patched and painted to perfection. The tilers were expert in fitting the tiles around my very complicated walls and window, cutting fractions so each piece fit perfectly. Each team was on time and cleaned up every day. All debris was removed at the end of job. The project came in on time and on budget. If we hit a bump in the road, Keven always took me aside and explained the situation and price. After hearing horror stories from friends of home remodels, workers that ghosted them, and longer than predicted timelines, I was glad that didn’t happen to me. Mission showed up every day, was on task, and stayed in constant contact. I highly recommend the Mission Remodeling team for your project!

I have been in construction for 50 years. Mission Remodeling did a great job for a good price. The work was completed in 3 weeks. All issues were resolved quickly. I highly recommend them.

Kevin takes a personal interest in every aspect of the work, all of our major works were completed on time, on budget and most importantly to the standard expected. We would have no issues in recommending Kevin and our project manager/carpenter Scott. We are very pleased with the work completed and even more that it was completed so quickly and with a minimal amount of inconvenience.
