The Service tech was efficient and qualified to do the job. He did his job in an hour explained everything he needed and would do and the cost. With that said I will not hire this company again. Their charges are not appropriate for the time spent at site.They charge by the job not the hour which they explained but I needed the job done immediately so I had them complete the work. My job was simple enough to be completed in an hour and the cost was over $250. I will not recommend them to anyone. They did explain that if they just had to change the lightbulb that the charge would be different. I would not try it just find out or suggest anyone do try it. These charges might work for some people, but not someone in my tax bracket.

They were quick to respond, professional and efficient. All done within a week.

We needed a recessed outlet installed in the middle of a large wall for our 85" tv. He came out and gave me an estimate within one day and I scheduled the work to be done two days later. Work done on time and quickly and efficiently. I will hire again for future projects.

They did an excellent job installing new lights in my garage. Cleaned up and removed the old fixtures.

Excellent service. Explained everything and worked hard daily to complete the massive job of replacing all electrical outlets and switches, installed garbage disposal switch and microwave in our 1985 house on the beach. Installed breaker box addition for dryer and junction box for hot water heater. Feel safe with the upgrades.

While they arrived quickly and began the project timely, it has been over a month with no call and no show. They were supposed to obtain a permit for the work and have charged us for the permit, but have not obtained a permit to date. They have charged us for work not yet completed and keep promising to call to schedule the remaining work but to date have not done so. Would not recommend.

The two young men were wonderful. Very efficient people. Worked well together. I would recommend the two and have them again

Mr Pky replied instantly and was here the same day. The repair man was extremely helpful and changed my kitchen ceiling light with a new model that wonâ t need a new light bulb for many years. Brought us to the latest in light fixtures. I would recommend Mr Sparky to all.

In summary, the work has been satisfactory. However, we were greatly mislead in the sales process. We had issues with false smoke alarms creeping up and I believe Mr. Sparky was referred by Angi.com. Originally I was going to have them assess the wiring and if it was good, install Nest Protects. John showed up for the appointment on time. He looked at the situation and said that while they could install the Nest Protects, he suggested having Mr. Sparky supply their own detectors. His selling points included that the smoke detectors were 10 years. He said that if there was any problem in those 10 years, Mr. Sparky would take care of it. And I could call their after service hours. In other words, he sold us the idea that we pay once and in the 10 years if we have any problem, Mr. Sparky would own it. He also said that our hallway and living room smoke detectors would be a "3 in 1" with a Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detector. Rest were a "2 in 1." Later that day the smoke detectors were installed. I noticed the box in the living room said it was a "2 in 1". I brought this up with the installers and they said John put in an order for all "2 in 1"s. The installers said they would take care of it and get the "3 in 1" for me. They said that there were not any in the warehouse. But as soon as they gotten them, they would get them to me. It's been almost a month with no response. And when I looked at the paperwork, what John sold to us was very misleading. We only have a 3 year warranty on the promise of their labor. While yes the smoke detectors are 10 year battery, they are only warrantying us for 3 years. Plus I see no mentioning of after hours support, so I'm imagining I have to pay extra for that. I truly went with Mr. Sparky detectors because of the sold "guarantee". If I honestly knew it was only a 3 year warranty ahead of time, I would have just told them to install the Nest Protects we have and I could swap them out myself if they are an issue. I paid $910 for 6 smoke detectors. And I know these smoke detectors retail for $20-25. I get it that there is also labor involved. However, they installed all 6 of these smoke detectors in less than an hour. So essentially I paid $790 in labor for something they only guarantee in 3 years. If the $910 covered it with no questions asked in 10 years, then yes it would certainly be worth it. I don't usually get duped, but I certainly did get here. I'm concerned about using Mr. Sparky for any future needs as I may get duped there. I hope this review helps for others considering smoke detector replacements. It will be interesting to see if this review gets hidden because it's not entirely favorable.
