Had a few bumps in puttin the project together. This morning i realized. A certain part cudnt fit because its upside down...

John Mitchell was pleasant and appears very professional, but he did not correct the foundation problem I paid for. I called him on 2 occasions to ask him to review his work, and he made a commitment to come, but never followed through. He charged much more than the professional foundation company I initially sought, but the job was too small for them. I am disappointed that he did not stand behind his work, and overcharged for what he did do.

John did an excellent job. He had to reattach the eave which came loose during Barry. It didn't take him long and his price was so low, I kicked in extra because of the quality.

He called immediately after I put in my request, and was at my door within a few hours. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and down to earth. He discussed other projects with me that are my list and explained how he would address them as well as the very reasonable prices he would charge. I used them for an initial few small projects and the next day, my door came off the hinge. I called him and he returned on Saturday evening to take care of the problem. He is neat, honest and probably underpriced given the service and detail with which he approaches a job. My handyman for LIFE!

I gave this gentleman a job of making 2 new drawers for a chest. This was obviously something that he had never done before. There were continuous measurement mistakes that he was very willing to correct. In the end, he damaged the outside of my chest that I am very capable of fixing now that I have the drawers, which were finally made correctly after several trials. He would have been great at repair but not carpentry from scratch. I can say that he kept me notified of every step and was diligent about showing up and contacting me when he would be late. Repair is his skill. I would strongly recommend him for jobs other that carpentry because of his strong work ethic.
