This guy told me he would charge $30 for the trip charge and to diagnose my swamp cooler, the repair would be additional minutes the $30. After he arrived he discovered his ladder was too short to get on my roof, so I borrowed my neighbors ladder then held it for him. He quickly discovered the problem was the shut-off valve at the outdoor faucet. While climbing the ladder again to close up the cooler he said I just want to let you know no less than $180. Shocked, I said why. He said for climbing your roof. I could not believe it because he knew my cooler was on the roof before he came. I offered $100 which was the way too much but it was almost 100 degrees out. He became agitated and said well just do not pay me, do it yourself or get a friend, do you have a friend?. I said no I am going to pay you what you quoted. I gave him 2 twenties which he folded and put in his pocket. I then said that was 2 twenties. He said he did not have to change and just kept my money. After I borrowed my neighbors ladder it took him about 10 minutes to diagnose the problem. The valve cost around $7 and I screwed it on in about 2 minutes. I texted him to ask for a receipt because the company before him left my cooler in that state when they did the startup. He would not provide me with a receipt. He kept my change.

Of course my swamp Cole stopped working when the temp outside was 95dgrees. I called the next day and was able to get same day service. German explained everything so well and fixed my unit fast. The cost was more than reasonable. I would highly recommend this company.

We, too, were thrilled with the quick and courteous response from German. Of course, the A/C broke down on one of the hottest days of the summer, and German came right over, identified the problem, and replaced the part; having the unit up and running within 30 minutes of his arrival. Highly recommend him.

My wife was waiting to hear from four other companies, when I read about Mobil1 on HomeAdvisor. I talked her into calling. Mr Vega answered right away, whereas a call to another contractor went to a full voicemail box. He does not charge to come out and look at your situation, whereas others wanted $60 to $90. Unlike most contractors, he didn't try to sell me a new system. The compressor was bad but the rest of the system looked in great condition, so he recommended replacing only the compressor. He was able to get a compressor from the same manufacturer and pick it up the same day. He said that he would install it late evening so we could sleep cool tonight. Even if he did nothing I would have been glad that we called Mobil1. He is the nicest person, and he gladly explains everything. He doesn't act like a business man but as a friend who wants to share his expertise with you. I hope there are more people like him out there. I would have given him 6 stars, but the web page only allows 5.

Helped with inspecting and cleaning my furnace and a/c unit to get ready to put my home on the market. He also looked at others to alert me of potential issues like noticing a gas leak from the meter. With this info I was able to call excel to repair there meter. I would recommend to anybody that ask.

German was great. He was worked hard to make sure the job was done correctly and talked to me about what he was doing and why. I would hire him again for any future issues I might have.

German is an honest guy and goes the extra mile to educate you on the problem and his repair. He wanted to show me what the issue was in my furnace before he started the work. He gave me the quoted amount for repair once diagnosed and it was very fair. This was all on a Saturday as well. He responded within minutes of my inquiry on a Saturday morning (the only contractor who responded at all) and since the furnace was not working (and it was cold) he came over within an hour. I did not see any type of weekend or rush fee either. Good guy, I'll call him again.
