We recently moved into a new home and had an issue with the refrigerator that existed in the home. The refrigerator would change temperature by itself and make a sound similar to a doorbell every time the temp changed. This temp change, and accompanying sound, happened at all hours of the day and night and drove my dog and my family, crazy. I am by no means a "handy man" so I looked to HomeAdvsor for a pro. They narrowed my search to Mobile Appliance Service. The representative at their offices was pleasant and setup a tech to come out the day I called (very thankful for that at the time). Throughout the day I also attempted to do my own research (love google) to try to learn more about the problem and see if anyone else experienced the same issue. The tech finally arrived late in the day. After explaining the issue to him, he unplugged the unit and took off the back panel to examine the main electrical board. He saw no issue and closed the panel back up and plugged it back in. He waited 10-15 minutes. The refrigerator made no sound or temp change during that time. He said sometimes just unplugging the fridge can reset the electrical board and resolve issues. I told him I had seen something about that when I searched Google. He stated that, "You should have tried that before you called". Slightly taken aback, I let him know that I had only run across this information after I had already placed the appointment. He then began to fill in a worksheet that took him 10-15 minutes to complete. During this time the temp did not change on the refrigerator did not change and there was no sound. At this time I asked what would happen if the refrigerator began to make the sound after he left (sometimes there were hours between sounds). He abruptly stated that I would simply need to call back and they would come out again. I thought at the time that if I did need to call back I would request a different tech as the one that came out didn't seem interested in delving too deeply into the issue to begin with. He then left my home and my family and I could finally begin to have dinner. I think everyone knows where this story goes next. Seriously, within minutes of him leaving the damn thing started beeping again!!!! By then it was past 9pm and I was sure that even if I called to get the tech back it would not happen until the next morning. Frantically, I started looking for schematics to the refrigerator online to help me find where the beep was coming from. Finally, I located a thread where someone was having the same issue and stated that the beeping comes from a smaller electrical board that is separate from the main board. When the smaller electrical board goes bad it can exhibit the same symptoms my refrigerator was having. There was a grouping of wires that ran power to the smaller electrical board. After I unplugged it, that powered off the temperature gauge and sound that came with it! Glory! I fixed it! Well not really, the sound stopped, but the small

I brought mobile appliance out to look at my microwave. Unfortunately for us, it was hit by lightening and unrepairable. However, Mobile Appliance was very helpful and came out twice (once to review the issue, 2nd time for additional parts). He was kind enough to provide a reasonable cost for his time since he came out twice. Not his fault I had an Act of God. He also recommended some inexpensive surge protectors meant for appliances that I have since purchased for all appliances in my house. Professional, nice to speak with and knowlegable

The appliance repair was done yesterday. I hope I don't have a problem with it. It was very,very expensive...about twice what it should have been.

Did a good job. Did not have chance to check pricing. Price seemed a little high. Completely satisfied with job. Did work, showed me bad parts and explained everything and made suggestions to prevent future problems.

Came today within scheduled time for an estimate. Service person (Amos), was courteous and knowledgeable. Identified the problem immediately. Hired them on the spot. Would definitely hire/refer them again. Pricing was reasonable.
