I been looking to hire someone to repair my siding, but with this pandemic going on, no one was returning my calls. I found Tim on HomeAdvisor and reached out to him. Tim promptly called me back. Within a week, he was at my house looking at my sad siding (missing panels, bowing, panels slipping down) told me he would be there the next day. I came home from work the next day and everything was fixed that we talked about and then some. I will be hiring him again for my other projects around my house!!! Thanks Tim!!!!

Tim called and showed up promptly. Provided Very thorough review of my situation. Though he scheduled as fill-in he was available and working within a week or so! Not only fixed my siding facia that had fallen down but was also able to address need to correct gutter clogging issue I needed to address in cost efficient manner.

Tim called about the stone work I needed the day I put it on Home Advisor and came that same day to look at the project. His prices were reasonable and Tim and his crew did quality work and completed the project quickly. Awesome new retaining wall and granite front steps went in and I am very happy with both. I even hired him to come back for another project when time permits. Want a contractor you can rely on to get it done on time and amaze you with the results call Modern Improvements they will get it done.

Sorry, but I never had anyone show up or reply, out all your attempts to help me. Guess, they figured the job, was too small to do and was not worth their time.

Tim was very timely in the completion of the work. I was under a tight deadline and he delivered as promised. There was no up front costs and the project ultimately cost what he quoted. The trim around the house looks great and we appreciate all the great work he did.

Excellent work -- replaced the trim above the garage that had blown off in a wind storm, and also noticed missing roof tiles on the peak that I had not seen. Did the roof repair for a very reasonable fee. Recommended.

Professional and knowledgeable - Not only agreed to repair metal roof vent but also plumbing to the vent. Parts are ordered - will report back once work is complete...

We had several estimates and decided to go with Tim and his crew from Modern Improvements. So the only regret we had was why did we not do this sooner? Tim was really easy to deal with and everything he promised was delivered and never took any money up front. The winter weather really challenged him and his crew. As if our older home with a hip roof was not enough. So it has been about two months and we has had so many compliments on the house’s appearance and we have really notice a savings in our heating bill. !!!!Tim thank you so much!!!!!

I had contacted several other larger companies. I only needed 1/2 of the roof replaced. The other companies would replace the entire roof and not half. Tim and his crew agreed to and did replace the 1/2 roof. They also ran a water test to make sure the roof did not leak. The job took a little longer then anticipated because some of the new metal was warped. I am pleased that they did not use the metal just to save time. I payed a little under the quote. No money up front, I payed at time of completion and not until I was completely satisfied with the work. Give this small company a chance. You will not be disappointed.

Roofing done right - Job done as quoted. Originally contacted RE: metal roof, but went with shingles because of cost. Cleaned up site during and at end of job. Prompt and courteous. Quality work. Modern Improvements versus the builder's roofing contractor from 23 years ago. Builder's sub, no underlayment, no drip edge on rakes, no ice & water protection on lower edges. Modern Improvements, underlayment on all roof surfaces, new drip edges all around, ice & water protection 60" up from lower edges. Shingles were purchased a month ahead of job, on advise of Modern Improvements, because of looming price increase. All around excellent experience from first contact to end of job.

We had a leak in the winter and they made it a priority to take care of it before it got worse. They were very prompt and attentive and repaired the problem.
