The installer was on time, reasonably priced and extremely professional. Communication was excellent, he walked me through the process of the entire installation and took care in every step and respected my home. I would 100% recommend him to absolutely anyone and have already recommended him to my entire family. I hope nothing else "plumbing related" breaks in the house, but when it does, I know who to call in the future.

Mike showed up on time to replace a hot water heater for me. He was professional did a great job in a timely manner and made sure everything was working properly before he left. Would definitely recommend and if the need arose would hire again. He also gave us a price without all the back and forth that we got from some other plumbers.

Mike from Modern Plumbing of the Triangle initially came out to our house about 30 minutes after contacting his office and a quick call back from his wife. Mike was very informative and helpful and gave us a quick quote. I told him I wanted to get several quotes and would make a decision after that. I felt at ease and confident with Mike and his experience and his personality. Today he came and installed our new water heater and did a great job for a fair price. I had a fantastic experience working with Mike & Karen of Modern Plumbing! Mike is a Master Plumber and cares deeply about sharing his expertise and doing high quality work. We had an electric water heat that had ceased working while we were out of town. He drained and removed the old tank and installed a new gas tankless system. He was very responsive and worked long hours to get our project completed. After living here for more than 30 years, we’ve finally found a plumber that we will call whenever there is a need!

I had an unexpected water heater emergency over the weekend, and Master Plumber Mike Calkins, was responsive, thorough in diagnosing the issue, and prompt in scheduling service. He completed the installation the very next day with exceptional workmanship. He was professional, patient in answering my many questions, and he did not try to up sell unnecessary services or products. His pricing was reasonable and he cleaned up the area thoroughly after the service was completed. I would absolutely hire him again and I wholeheartedly recommend him without reservation. Mike did an AWESOME job of replacing a hot water heater that included rerouting the gas line as well as tidying up the hot and cold-water lines. Honestly, the project looks like it's photoshopped while looking at it real-time. Mike is very meticulous with his work and is also a splendid person to get to know.

We had an excellent experience with Modern Plumbing, run by Mike and his wife. Mike was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly. His estimate showed expertise and attention to detail, and he recommended a higher-end model than others. Supporting a local business was important to us. During installation, Mike detected a faint gas smell, traced it to a nail puncturing our gas line—a slow leak for ten years. He safely repaired it, thanks to his gas line certification. Mike was amazing with info over the phone, then a home visit on his way home as it was end of the day and 2 hour away to discuss options came the next day and fixed the issue he came as scheduled on Saturday and fixed the issue perfectly Very personable, reasonable rates, and pretty quick, communication all along the way What I liked the best was the discussion on the phone prior that gave me the comfort level he was top shelf Heck?s gave me a two year warranty on parts and labor, no one does that! Plus he was professional, polite and keenly aware of our situation and needs He us now in our family and will be shared with the list serve neighborhood

I highly recomend this company for their knowledge and experience in dealing with plumbing issues. I had a water leak in the main water line from the meter to the house. I had some reservation that the plumber could find the leak let alone fixing it. I could tell he knew about different materials that go into plumbing, which is important to fix it right and guarantee the job. On a side note, he was pleasant and friendly.
