Bob Phillips and his team earn my highest marks! The Modern Renovations crew replaced carpeted stairways on my main floor and lower level with beautiful oak stairs and new iron balusters. The carpentry work was done meticulously and perfectly. Very customer oriented -professional, courteous, punctual, reliable, well organized... what else could you ask for? I will use Bob again and gladly refer him to anyone.

Bob, called within 5 minutes of my ad being posted. He quoted the job, and made some very good recommendations. Arrived promptly, never stopped working, very professional and clean. The staircase results are very impressive, the finishing touches that he did, that were not expected were a very pleasant surprise and finished the project completely. Our experience with Modern Renovations was fantastic. Bob was very professional and reliable. The quality of the work was outstanding. He was easy to work with and very accommodating. Whenever we needed changes done he was easy to work with and wanted to make sure that we were happy with the job. We had stairs that needed an overhaul and used bamboo. Bob was great at working with our bamboo supplier and making sure that everything was just right. Our stairs now look better than I ever expected. We had two other people that turned the job down.....good for us because then I found Modern Renovations and they did an awesome job. Thanks!

Bob Phillips answered my call through ServiceMagic immediately. I wasn't ready to start the work but just looking for a contractor. I called him when I was ready and he came out to quote the work. The quote was reasonable and ready when he said. The work was impeccable. I was replacing a wrought iron staircase with wood. We put wood veneers over the top of the old steps and added some stylish elements to the new wood stair rail. Overall I had the most pleasant experience with Bob and Modern Renovation. He was so professional and easy to work with...I wish all contractors were the same. We LOVE our finished product.
