No, he never showed up to do the work. He's a bonafide scam artist. I had him to come out to install 40 ft of fencing and repair a couple of sections already in place. He came out and gave me an estimate and I told him I would get back with him when I am ready. A few weeks later he reached out to me and stated he could get the material and get started on my fence. I was surprised because I did not call him, he called me but not thinking anything fishy, he asked for $800 to get the materials and would be able to do the work around a week later. Unfortunately I believe him and told him to come by to pick up the money and he did. I am wrote him a check for the $800 and never saw the bum again. I spoke to him a couple of times over the phone and he always assured me he was coming but never did. So he scammed me out of $800 and I am very pissed over it. I filled out paperwork to sue his butt hoping I can get some kind of resolution to my money. Please do not trust this guy!

Upon the referral of my sisterâ s friend, we reached out to Wayne Charles Montague, on Sunday, 9/1/2024 for a quote to install a 120-feet chain link fence. - -Monday, 9/2/2024: Wayne quoted a price of $1333; $733 material and $600 labor. - -Wednesday, 9/11/2024: Wayne provided a written work agreement and received a $733 check for the materials. - -Thursday, 9/12/2024: Wayne cashed the check. - -Saturday, 9/21/2024: The work was scheduled to commence. Then came a series of excuses. - -Saturday, 9/21/2024: Wayne to my sister: Good morning I hate to do this but I have to change job till Monday my power digger broke yesterday. - -Friday, 9/27/2024: Wayneâ s phone: This is Wayneâ s wife he in hospital since Thursday hopefully getting out today. - -Tuesday, 10/1/2024: Wayne arrived and placed some [not all] of the posts, indicating that he would return on Thursday to attach the fencing wire. - -Thursday, 10/3/2024: Wayne â Morning Patricia, Iâ m not making excuses. I hate to do this, but my truck is in the shop getting brakes done today. [Stating that he would finish the job tomorrow; 10/4/2024] - -Friday, 10/4/2024: Patricia to Wayne - Approximately what time should we expect you? WE NEVER HEARD FROM WAYNE AGAIN!!!!!!! - -From 10/4/2024 to 10/10/2024, between my sister and me we made 11 phone calls and sent 24 text messages. We received Read Receipts for the texts, so we know for certain that HE WAS CHOOSING TO IGNORE OUR COMMUNICATION ATTEMPTS. We also searched the internet and found a few potential home addresses. - -Friday, 10/11/2024, my sister and I drove to a few of the addresses and located Wayne Montague at 8311 Camelot Blvd, Mount Morris, MI 48458. I photographed his truck and the contents of his OPEN garage. There WAS NOT sufficient fencing material inside to complete MY job, although on 9/30/2024 he stated, â I have the materials. Theyâ re all paid for.â Wayne came out to speak to us and immediately started with his excuses again. He acknowledged receiving our texts and phone calls, but provided no explanation as to why he REFUSED to respond. I demanded my money back, to which he â promisedâ to come â next weekâ . Again, I demanded my money back. He stated that he had already purchased the materials. He stated that he didnâ t have the money and then went inside his house. - -Read the reviews by Doron P. and Pam J. on Angi's List. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this guy. He will OVER-PROMISE and NOT DELIVER!!!!!

Highly recommend. I checked into a few companies and Iâ m so happy that I chose Link It Fence. They were so great to deal with and did an Outstanding job! No pressure or surprises. They are reliable and take pride in their work. Iâ m extremely happy with my new fence. It looks absolutely Amazing And my pups are not escaping! All for a great price. Thank you Wayne and crew, I truly appreciate your hard work!

They installed nearly 400ft of fence and two gates I could not be happier with the work. The guys were great to work with and the job looks great Thank You.

These guys were great, only bummer which I can correct myself was the double gate opens weird, One section is over the sidewalk and the other is over grass. The primary opener is the one over grass. I can fix this but otherwise, these guys work on priority rather than scheduling. My son has autism and is a runner. We had the fence in, in 1 week. Awesome Job Wayne and Mike.

They installed a twenty foot section of fence added a new four foot gate and repaired a couple of boo-boos. I consider it an excellent job. Give them a Six star review.

The only problem I had was he never showed on the days he said he would. Nor did he call to let me know he wasn't comin or why he didn't show. I would call him to see what time he was coming and he would say he wasn't coming for whatever reason, or he didn't show up because he was sick. Other then that, I had no problems.

His two workers were very professional also. I would highly recommend this company and his workers .Also when he said he was going to be there he was there. I rate him a solid five. Wayne was always keeping us updated as the process was going along. He really listened to what we wanted. The lines of communication were great and if we had any questions they were answered very quickly! Him and his crew did a amazing job on the fence installation. We would definitely recommend Link it Fence to any of our friends and family!

Signed agreement with Wayne Montague June 30th and wrote a check for a partial payment. The check was endorsed by Mr. Montague the following day. Didn't hear anything from the company for the next 2 months. Phone calls went unanswered. Finally sent an email through their web site address. He responded and said he'll call the week-end coming and set things up. Again, no calls, no emails. Sent another email to their web site. Wife responded saying Wayne can finish the job within 2 weeks or they'll send me a refund. I opted for a refund. No refund check on the mail. My lawyer is now involved.!!!

Came right out for an estimate.. started the work when they said they would. finished product looks great.

This was a very small job. I just needed a reconfiguration and a small extension. I was concerned that, at this time of the year, no one would want to dedicate the resources. Montague Fencing was gracious enough to do it. Service was excellent.

Wayne and his crew exceeded my expectations. They created a custom built cedar picket fence that enhances my front yard. My little puppy is also thrilled with her habitat. If you need a fence call Montague Fence !!!
