My wife and I have used Montco Fence twice now - at our prior house and again when we moved. We've been pleased with the entire process both times, from quote through installation and service. They are not the cheapest, nor the most expensive - but I believe to be the best value. We had a picket fence installed at the last house. After a couple months, a post one gate hinged on had settled in a couple inches so it no longer aligned well with the other side. They came out the same week to fix. We have a split rail with chicken wire at our new house. Local ordinance is very restrictive on the types of fences allowed, so if there's a fence in our neighborhood, it's a split rail. Walking around, we can tell the quality of the fence is much higher than other split rails. The posts and the rails appear to be much more heavy duty than what we've seen at other houses nearby. B

They have been repeatedly contacting me over this negative review I gave them, trying to coerce me into removing or changing it entirely. Really poor job, quote through execution. Left tons of large wood debris in the yard, and when asked to replace a rail that was sawed through more than halfway, they flipped it to hide it. Called and complained and they were to call and come Saturday or Monday to fix it. Instead we got a call Monday evening asking for payment, after we were told no payment until satisfied. They agreed to come out to resolve the issue, but then never showed and contacted me to ask me to remove my review. I declined. We asked that the return visit to correct the poorly done job be Friday or Monday, but they decided the customer's schedule didn't matter and showed up Saturday unannounced. Lastly, the fence is to keep a small dog away from the road, hence the chicken wire, and a gate was left wide open by the workers. It's still not properly done. As soon as my mother paid on the contingency they come out a third time, they started trying to get her to force me to remove my review. When she said no, I received another message trying to convince me to remove this review. At this point, I'm going to fix the fence. Total nightmare. They also made sure to tell us that they come out when it's convenient for them. They do not work on the customer's schedule.

Montco installed a fence for us last year. They did a great job installing. They will be installed the other side this year. Had a small issue with invoices, however their customer reps worked it out with us. Of the quotes, they were the best priced.

Replaced old cedar post fence. Working with Montco Fence was easy and everyone from the moment I was contacted were very helpful and professional. A special thanks to the installers as Oscar made a suggestion on a change in one area to make sure the fence looked perfect. After seeing the finished work I would say these are some of the best fence installers in the area and would highly recommend Montco Fence.

Getting estimate was easy and clearly stated. Scheduling repair was handled well. Workers were pleasant and professional. Job was completed as per estimate. Few minor details were not what I expected. Thus, I did not give 5 stars. But, overall, I was pleased and would use them again for fence repairs and would recommend them to others.

We actually had split rail and wire done. The guy that came out for the quote actually recommended that over chain link. It looks better and was cheaper than chain link. Montco was also quite a bit cheaper than the other 2 quotes we got. They came out about 2 weeks after I put the request in and we're done within a day. I'm so happy with my new fence and my neighbors keep complimenting it and asking who did it.

We had 2 fence jobs done and had wonderful experiences both times. The crew worked efficiently and the fences look great. The foremen asked me about which way I wanted to two gates to open. Not having considered it, he made a suggestion which I agreed to and he was right! It looks wonderful! They asked if we wanted to dirt leftover or they offered to remove it. When my husband said we would use it to fill a dip in the backyard, the man filled it for us. We did not expect that. Very professional. I even referred them to a coworker who. Is equally happy with her experience as well.

They installed an over 300-foot PVC privacy fence, 6-8 foot height. They are very professional and experienced, either the person came to give the estimation or the whole installation crew. Very hard working and polite people. The price is slightly higher than the other two companies I contacted, but the job was done nicely and the fence looks great. Certainly will work with them again or recommend them to other people.

Hard working, and Verry experienced, and Helpful, and the workers are polite, and they clean the yard up very nicely never knew there was construction going on there thanks Montco for doing a Great job for me i'll recommend this company to any home owner.

They are working on the fence and rear deck now. They delivered a first class shed this morning. They haven't finished yet but they are first class....

I contacted Montco for an estimate for fencing for our backyard (approximately 450 linear feet). I called the company and spoke with Jen. She was very helpful in answering my questions regarding the different types of fences we were considering. Initially, we were considering a wood fence since it's more cost effective. We made an appointment for Bill, the owner of the company, to come out for an estimate the next day. Bill arrived and walked the yard with my husband and me. Bill was very personable, answered all of our questions, and made recommendations for the fence. The completed work order had the cost for a wood fence and an aluminum fence. To our surprise, the price difference was about $1000. The play set removal cost $350 but Bill offered to dismantle it and bring it to a location of our choice. When I told him that no one wanted it, he asked if he could put it in front of the Bechtelsville store so a needy family could have it (which I thought was so nice). We gave Bill a deposit that day and made an appointment for the following week to have the fence installed. The installation went very smoothly. The foreman walked the grounds with my husband and me to make sure everything was correct. Several people were there and they all worked very hard to complete the job in one day. Additionally, we had some "holes" in our yard (something about drainage) and they filled them in with the dirt they dug up. They were never asked to do it but they did it anyway which was a nice surprise. After the installation, the guys cleaned the new fence even though it was raining. Betsy called mid day to see how the fence was progressing and Kelsey called the next day to thank us for our business. All in all, I am so very happy that we chose Montco. The owners and their workers are all class acts and are great at what they do.
