Chris was great at first. His contractors installed a new tub & shower combination and all new tile. After they left I noticed they had not protected my marble vanity from the grit and had to have it resurfaced. When I cleaned it the first time I found they chipped the tub during the install. 8 months later the grout cracked. I left multiple message over 6 weeks, no reply. Tried reporting to the Better Business Bureau only to find out they are approved by them. I am now looking at a complete re-grouting of the tiles, only 9 months after install.

We hired Chris and his team to do our bathroom. We waited and saved for 7 years to do this project. We chose this company as a recommendation, estimate was on par and Chris presented himself as professional and competent. While there have been a few positives, overall, our experience has been exceedingly negative. I got a $1,600 estimate from a plumber to fix the few mistakes which has pushed me to write this. Positive: - Chris' team was respectful and pleasant - Returned to attempt to correct leaks and issues Negatives: - Faucet presented a leak post install - Faucet was scratched in several places and handle installed on an angle - Tub leaked in two places and caused damage - Tub caulk was terrible not a smooth area and had gaps - Trim was not replaced but put back and looked crappy, parts completely undone - Paint splatter all over the tub, toilet and floor that had to be cleaned and scrapped - Charged for a dual vanity, purchased a single vanity ( and on my own after they couldn't and not properly credited - Floor tile not level - Floor tile edge missing & cracked grout - When Chris' team installed the vanity they didn't cover the top when finishing the bathroom and ruined the top with blotches - and there is more, but I will stop at that depiction Again, we had a plumber today to provide an est to fix this because Chris had a team member out to fix twice without conclusion. Frankly I don't want them back because I have zero confidence they will resolve. I wasn't going to post this but I feel taken advantage of and believe customers have a reasonable expectation to have a properly remodeled bathroom that was promised. Recommendation: know what you want. Know exactly what the labor costs are versus fixtures. Be firm. Know what exactly is included, down to the trim. Get several estimates. Check and recheck recommendations. Go with your gut - if you have doubt back out! â ¦good luck to you!

Time of completion should be confirmed. Had to contact them quite a few times. Job still not finished.

Chris has generally been great to work with on our big project of redoing the front exterior of our home. I am pleased with the results. Work began in June 2021. After several attempts, my biggest concerns were addressed and remedied as of September. Many thanks!

We hired Chris and his team to finish our basement in September 2020. We chose this company as we found the estimate fair and Chris presented himself as professional and competent when he came for the estimate. While we were told the project would be completed in approximately two weeks, the project is still ongoing in February 2021 (the majority of the project was completed in December). While there have been a few positives, overall, our experience with this company has been exceedingly negative. The Positives: When interacting with us, the team was respectful and pleasant. As a result of the significant issues we faced (and are still facing), Chris waived the labor costs on a few of the items. Chris had layered in a material cost for flooring and did not charge us the difference when we chose a different flooring (a few hundred dollars). The Negatives: Initially, the team did not tell us they were going to do the job without getting permits. When the county found out and required permits, significant delays were caused. Chris did not tell us when people would be working on the house and when they would not. The team would not show up for days or weeks at a time and then all of a sudden would be in our basement. Subsequent to the permit issue, Chris told us that the inspection was nothing to be worried about; however, as a result of the inspection, we had to install a baseboard heater, which increased the costs by several hundred dollars. When the team replaced the windows, they left the old windows in our small driveway. They never took the old windows and allowed them to shatter despite being asked to remove them. We were forced to clean up the broken glass ourselves. Also when replacing the windows, the team stepped on our foundation plants. The heater that the team installed in the basement is quite dented. When the team installed closet doors, they already had scratches and nicks in them. Importantly, during the process, we asked that our invoice/estimate be updated whenever there was a change order, so we could know how much things would cost. This was never done. In fact, the only time we saw a change order was when we suggested that we hold back the final payment until the final inspection was done. Only at this time, did Chris send us a second invoice. We installed a luxury laminate. Within days, the laminate was already separating and causing soft spots on the floor. When installing the heater, Chris told us that the cost would be about $300. When we received the last invoice, the cost had a difference of approximately $400. Chris said the difference was because he had to split our breaker box so that there was sufficient power; however, now when we use anything connected to the same circuit, the breaker trips. Chris has been unresponsive when we brought up this issue. After the team left, we found trash littered in our garage where we allowed them to store stuff (coffee cups, bottles, boxes from materials, etc.). Chris, so far, has not come to fix the floor. We have reached out to him on numerous occasions only to have nothing be done. Chris repeatedly demanded payment without meeting agreed milestones. For example, one of the milestones was that the electrical would be done. Chris demanded the payment before the electric issues being finished (i.e. approximately half of the electrical sockets did not work) because they had purchased the flooring. Believe it or not, there were several more issues during the process. We had told Chris that we had no intentions of writing a review; however, given the continuing issues, we do feel it is beneficial to let others know of our experience. We are beginning to redo a number of issues that we just gave up asking Chris.

My remodel was completed with quality, in a timely manner, and with the upmost professionalism. I highly recommend this company to others.

I was very pleased with Montco Home Pros. They were honest and upfront about their current hardships with one of their employees being out of work due to heart attack so I was very patient and felt that the finished work was worth the delay. I appreciate their customer service representative keeping me updated also.

The problem concerning water actually "raining" into my house was handled wonderfully by Christopher's employee. I would highly recommend this company to handle any roof problems that may occur. Anyone that asks me if I know of a company that is fair, kind, and thorough I will gladly recommend this company to them.

TOTAL NIGHTMARE WORKING WITH MHP AND CHRIS. We hired Montco Home Professionals (MHP) for a whole house remodeling project on June 17th, 2020. They started the work and have left every area of the house partially done. The project is more than a month delayed and no work has been done since August 6th, 2020. Chris gave many different excuses for the delays and now is totally nonresponsive. Chris kept threatening to move the crew to another project if we did not make the scheduled payments even though they were behind. At this point, we have paid over 80% of the amount to MHP but every task is incomplete. Chris assured us they have their own employees who will do the work. But most of the work was subcontracted to many different crews. We have holes in the ceiling in 6 rooms, all 3 bathrooms are half done, incomplete plumbing, amateur ceiling painting, electrical wires hanging everywhere. Highly do not recommend hiring MHP for any work.

Chris and Shannon are professional, kind, understanding, selfless, willing to work with their clients and appreciate their employees. I am honored and so happy to work for them. They do amazing and efficient work. Chris is always willing to go above and beyond for his clients no matter what, just to make sure everyone is completely satisfied with his work. You will not be disappointed.
