I gave him 2/5 on the customer service because despite my attempt to notify him on a minor fix that supposed to be done within the warranty period he never showed up and even called me back. That was disappointing but the quality of work his team brings is recommendable.

I had a leak in my kitchen and hired Monterossa Home Improvement to fix it, Mr. Monterossa advised that I need a new roof. We were planning to move so I asked if he could repair the leak and sections of the roof so I could pass an inspection and give the new homeowners a couple of years without issues. Mr. Monterossa said he could do that. I paid him 1000.00 for the job. Imagine my surprise when 3 months later I walk into a puddle in my kitchen and find the leak that I just paid 1000.00 to repair is not repaired. I called Mr. Monterossa who responded "I told you that you need a new roof." I responded that he took 1000.00 of my money and did not repair the issue that he was hired to repair. He came over and because it was raining said he would come back and never did. Three months later I called again and he sent his team over who said it would be "a lot more money" to fix the leak. I am getting a new roof but hired a different company. They told me that because the leak was not repaired I now have water damage in the attic. Very, very frustrating and very expensive.

Elmer was professional and communicated with me throughout the project. His team were considerate, professional and kind working around my small children to get the job accomplished. His team took extra care to clean up the area of nails and debris. When I had questions, concerns or needed to make changes Elmer was available to clarify and renegotiate with honesty and care for our home. Thank you for the excellent service and quality work!

The trust I felt in the owner, Elmer's noted interest to do the job right and a reasonable value. I've used Monterrosa in the past, and what was impressive to me was that Elmer didn't try to sway or sell me something I didn't need. Actually, what I was looking to have replaced, he let me know I didn't need to spend money to correct it, but rather, he could provide lower cost maintenance that would satisfy the repair. Impressive to the current work of them replacing my 30-year old roof was that once the roof was replaced in the job was complete, Elmer said he'd come back in a couple of weeks to inspect the roof and ensure anything that needed a touchup, he would take care of. Absolutely satisfied with Elmer and Monterrosa.

They are gentle and easy to work with. The did everything professionally for the roof replacement. They cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.

Monterrosa Home Improvement Services were very very nice and a great value for my money. I marked them down for customer service because after hiring them, I had to call twice to get them to do the job. Also, they are not incredibly organized on the paperwork side of their business, and I am still waiting for their invoice for completed work. Both issues are not that big of a deal. They are very reasonable on their prices, didn't try to gouge more money than was fair...I would definitely hire this contractor again!

Rapid response. Called within an hour of submitting request to Home Advisor and had the job done the next morning. Also did some other work that I needed.

Professional, quality work done quickly. Mr. Monterrosa came out and they took cell photos of roof damage and pointed out repair needs. Price was very reasonable. His team was very respectful of property - couldn't tell they were there doing roofing work. Would definitely call him again.
