But for weather issues the work was excellent. I have employed them for extra work. Nice folks.

The project was very successful. We had none of the "horror story" issues you hear about. The work was done on time, on budget and to our satisfaction. One other very important aspect of this project was their people. Without exception, everyone that worked on our project was polite, professional and competent. We were very pleased with the outcome of the project.

The craftsmanship was exceptional. Service after substantial completion was very responsive and professional. The finishing painter was amazing. All new plumbing and electrical was done with high quality and care. We have been complimented on our new bathroom with very high regard. Thanks to everyone involved. I am going to ask Montgomery to reconstruct our deck into a screened in room next.

Tim and/or Chris met with me each morning to review the day; they knew how much the details meant to me! They are very knowledgeable and obviously care deeply about the work they do which translated into a beautiful finished product. Their teams took really good care of my home and even loved my dog. We had a wonderful experience with this company for an extensive home remodel. Their design and workmanship is superior. We loved having their people in our home. Professional and friendly and hard working. The results far exceeded our expectations!! Our home is beautiful! We will use them again and highly recommend their services to others.

Our initial consult with the salesman went very smoothly. We got a few other quotes to add on a screened-in porch to our home and decided to go with Montgomery. We agreed to start the project 2 1/2 months out from signing although lead times were much shorter. After emailing every week for about 3 weeks with no response, I finally received an initial start date two weeks before construction. On our start date no one showed up, and no one called stating it was rescheduled. Luckily, due to COVID, I am working from home so did not take any time off from work. I called and was informed that it was rescheduled for two weeks later. Prior to all of this, I had not seen any plans or drawings...basically, it was a crapshoot. I had a verbal description and an idea of what it would look like and was going off that. When the materials arrived and the guys showed up to begin work, it turns out they were given incorrect measurements and design information so they were short on materials. By that time this was sorted out, we were halfway into getting a roof we were not expecting. Luckily, the project manager, Chris was very responsive and fixed the issue right away. There were a few other items that were miscommunicated between the salesman, office, and PM that Chris took upon himself to remedy. Overall, the communication with the salesman and office was horrible, but Chris and his team did excellent work and really made sure I was happy with everything. Even after all payments made, Chris still checked in and took care of something that I asked for. We are very happy with the style and quality of the build, after all, is said and done.

Very happy with the quality of their work. They converted an large closet into a full bath with a Sauna. Came when they said they would and completed the job before they moved on to their next project! Would recommend them for your next home improvement project.

This was a very positive experience. Everyone connected with Montgomery was friendly, professional, and hard working. They remodeled the bathroom to make it handicapped accessible and replaced the linoleum. I recommend this company for excellent quality, good pricing. and excellent communication.

I highly recommend them. Prompt attention to any matters, very considerate of the homeowners, showed up everyday on time and cleaned up well at the end of the day. All concerns were taken care of and the project was completed as promised. I would use them again.

Very professional from beginning to end.

I had hoped I could not do this review, but circumstances are to the point I cannot remain silent, because of other homeowners seeking a construction company. I hired Montgomery Construction to build a deck and gut my bathroom and install items I purchased. I will say we were up against a house that was not up to industry standards. To their credit, they found the floor was rotten, and they fixed it. Demolition went very smooth and trash moved quickly. Everything seemed to go smooth. They were patient in stuff that a home ware store messed up. At the completion of the bathroom however, I was shocked at some things I saw. The toilet was sitting on top of a 1 old pipe. They covered it with clear silicone (you never silicone around a toilet). When we told them this was not acceptable we were told it would be an extra $200. There was no baseboard and 1/4 round at all. They had put in the contract that it would be painted but the crew said they were told not to paint the window. They eventually painted the window seals, but we had to paint the inside part. At this point I had to demand the bathroom issues be fixed, and I was not paying anymore for it. Now to the deck. The boards were full of knots. They told me that was normal, but we consulted another contractor who said that was not correct. In addition, I went to a home ware store and found perfectly good boards. Of course, they cost more, but I was not given the option to select premium wood. They used the dirt cheap boards. We had them replace 26 boards where the knots were really bad. In addition, my deck was built in a way that the boards were placed in a non-uniform direction. It is pieced together and not pretty. As far as the crew, they were great to work with until we started making them redo the problems. I was kinda miffed because one worker laid down on my dining room carpet. The reason I wrote this is that we found a problem with the tub spicket. All we had to do was gently move it and it came off. So we are gonna have to pay a reputable contractor to fix it. There are other issues I will not go into. I do have to say working with them had us stressed to the point of being traumatized. Do yourself a favor, if you want it done right, keep looking.
