Moreno's Hardwood Flooring

Humberto Moreno just finished refinishing our old wood floors and installing new hard wood floors for us. The floors are beautiful and I am so happy. The color is just what I wanted and really updates our house. He is professional, honest and does quality work for a fair price. He shows up on time, works hard, cleans up and does amazing work. I highly recommend him.

It was a very good experience working with Humberto, he used quality products and protected areas not being refinished. It truly is better overall to hire a professional ( don't ask) to do this type of work. Please call Humberto to give you a estimate to refinish your wood floors.

Do not hesitate to call Mr. Mareno for any work you need doing on your floors. Once he began installing the laminate wood flooring in our basement area, he worked tirelessly for three days and did an excellent job. You do not know that he is there, except for the lovely noise of hearing those floor boards going down. He is very professional and works to please you! Call him!

New to North Carolina, we hired a renovation company do work in our home. Unfortunately, that company abandoned our project for a larger job, leaving our floors partially sanded. Apprehensive, we reluctantly interviewed several flooring companies and subcontractors. Ultimately we selected Moreno's Hardwood Flooring. The cost to complete the job was very competitive. Humberto was sensitive to our situation and made the necessary adjustment to make our project a priority. We trusted Humberto with 1,822 sq ft of flooring and he did not disappoint. He committed to and completed our job within 4 days! He committed to be at our home each morning at 8am, and he was. He did the work himself, was very thorough and professional at all times. I selected Moreno's because of the great reviews here on Home Advisor, he was prompt to come to estimate the job and we agreed on the day to begin. I had about 1000 square feet of 70 year old red oak flooring to be refinished, in various stages of aging. I pulled up the carpets in some rooms, and got most of it up. Humberto came and finished pulling some tacks. I have to say, Humberto is an experienced professional and was thorough in every stage of sanding and had all the tools. He was meticulous, neat and clean. I was amazed that he had completed the sanding and prep work in about 2 and a half days, and applied the first coat by the end of the third day. He came back on the 4th day, applied the top coat and put down the shoe molding. I can't believe how good these old floors look, and I am so glad I opted for refinishing. I feel very lucky to have found such a professional worker. I am hoping to have him come back to do the kitchen floor, as it is also the same oak. I have no reservations in recommending Moreno's for anyone in the area to have their floors refinished.

Mr. Moreno did an excellent job of my floors. One room I had never seen the floor it was carpeted now I love it. He had one more room to complete. He had to correct a botched job by another contractor. He is very prompt and reasonable. I would recommend him.

Very honest and very skilled at what they do. I was so pleased with my kitchen and hallway floors after they refinished them. They are good at matching the proper color to other hardwood flooring in rooms that did not need to be refinished.

Moreno's hardwood floors did an awesome job refinishing my hardwood floors and stairs. They got here quickly, arrived when they said they would, did a great job cleaning up after themselves, and did amazing work! All at a great price. I would highly recommend them.

Great quality for the price.

We bought a house that had a mix of carpet and ceramic tile. When we pulled up the carpet we found a mess ( the previous owner had 5 cats). We had to take up a lot of sub-floor. Then we jack-hammered out the tile which left us with a large area of floor that was 2 inches lower than the carpeted areas. We called Mr. Moreno to see how we could install pre-finished stranded bamboo flooring over this mess. He knew exactly what to do and instructed my husband on what to buy. My husband purchased that and the bamboo flooring and Umberto did the rest. He said it would take 2 weeks ( about 3500 sq feet of floor plus some stairs that had to be sanded and coated in poly urethane). It took exactly 2 weeks as promised. He even sent his assistant to work on Saturday to make sure he finished on time. While he was working he discovered that some of the baseboard we had hoped to save was in fact not salvageable (again 5 cats). He came up with a reasonably priced alternative and installed it seamlessly so that it looked totally natural against the areas with the original. He worked very hard to make our house just right. He cleaned up every afternoon before he left. To top it all off, his price was about 20% lower than the other quote we received ( and the other guy wouldn't touch it until we fixed the sub-flooring ourselves). I highly recommend Moreno's Hardwood!
