Morris Chimney Service

Michael is very thorough and knowledgeable about the chimney business. We had him come out for both a wood burning and gas fireplace. He was easy to talk to and explained all that he did and why and how to maintain them moving forward. He was quick to reply to my message and to get me on his schedule. Well definitely be using him for our seasonal maintenance and any thing else that may come up for our fireplaces.

Very personable and informative

Not good. Cleaned chimney well and was to order a cap to go on top of the chimney. I paid half for the cap approximately $270.00 deposit and once the cap came in I was to pay the remaining half, I had not heard from him and contacted him he said the part would be in 3 weeks later I did not hear back again and so I called him and he said the part arrived bent you did not get my message ect... I have kept calling to get info and will now be taking him to small claims court. When I call, someone else is answering his phone.

Did fast work and did some minor repairs.

Michael does good work if you can get him to return your call. I needed him to install a new wood stove fall of 2019. First, he brought one that was too small. It would not heat one room, let alone my whole house. He finally got one installed on Feb. 15, 2020. Yes, I was without any heat prior to that. He did not install the panel that surrounds the stove to hide the insulation because it needed to be cut down. He was supposed to return to finish that part but has never shown up. Since then I have called him countless times, and only once did he return my call. He said he was sorry and would get the job done. That was spring of 2021. He has not returned my calls since. He has already been paid for this job, and I am only asking for him to complete the work he has been paid for.

Job is not complete, have to wait for birds to vacate the chimney before can move forward. So far very satisfied, was given very clear reasons why has to be handled properly.

They are one of the few services that responded-and i think that tells you a lot up front about a company. He is waiting for a part to finish the job but I feel confident in his work and he took the time to explain to me what needed to be completed.

Mike was very professional, explained things thoroughly, was punctual and did a good job in a timely manner.

Mike from Morris Chimney was the fourth person I had to my house because no one else was able to figure out why streams of cold air were pouring out of my fire place into my living room. Mike figured it out, fixed it the same day, and charged me an extremely reasonable price! I am so grateful!

I'm sure this company will receive a 5 after work is completed. It would be unfair to give a 5 before everything is complete, but I'm leaning towards that direction.

He has went way above and beyond anything I could ever hope for already and we are not even done. If you do not hire this wonderful guy you are missing out. On time and friendly. He even answered some questions I had that didn’t really pertain to cleaning the chimney.

Mike was able to take care of our problem the same day. Had an issue with dead animals in the chimney. He cleaned that out and recommended how to prevent it in the future. Took his advise and he installed caps the next day on a pretty high chimney at reasonable pricing.
