Dear Sirs. You came to my home on 04/26/2017 for a $79.00 Precision Tune-Up & Rejuvenation. First, during the inspection in the attic, your agent recommended to put a new filter which he would sell me for $47. He installed it but when I checked it was not the right side and I had to argue with your agent about that. He finally removed it. When doing the inspection of the unit outside, he said the capacitor was bad and should be changed. It took him a long time to change it as he did something wrong and had to ask for technical assistance. While he was doing that I checked the price of the part and found it was around $20, probably less for you. But on the invoice, your agent wanted to charge me $215 plus $50 for warranty. I refused to pay as the cost had no bearing with the cost of the part and the small amount of time it should take an experienced operator to install it. Your agent called his supervisor, we argue for some time and finally I paid $215.00. However, I still find I have not been treated fairly. How can you justify selling a part costing $20 and taking 10 to 15 minutes to install for $215 or even $265? In your lump sum of $79.00 your speak of rejuvenation. It seems to me changing a cheap part in a few minutes is part of that. One time you sell me a part for $47 (the filter) and the next you sell me a cheaper part (the capacitor) for $215!! Looking forward to an answer from you. Best Regards

Expensive. Motor replaced was not OEM and was noisy. found out later that this motor they put in was actually not completely to manufacturer's specs... had to pay $250 extra to get it swapped out to OEM motor on top of already expensive service.

"Your original call for a/c service was on a Sunday and the technician found that your condenser fan motor had failed. The typical option for an after hours service call would be to put in an aftermarket motor that our technicians carry on their vehicles to get you cooling immediately as opposed to leaving you not cooling and using an OEM motor at a later time. The aftermarket motor did in fact make noise and we offered a special deal for you to come back out to replace the aftermarket motor with a Factory OEM motor for an additional $250. Morrow Mechanical always strives to provide the best customer service possible and our pricing is based on a flat rate system whether that repair takes 15 minutes or 2 hours."

I had to have them come out a second time as the job was not completed the first time. The second time, they spent a good amount of time cleaning up the trash that was left behind and were apologetic. Seemed to genuinely want me to be satisfied. All in all a good job at a great price.

The company was very responsive and friendly. The tech showed up on time and made a quick diagnosis for repairs between $700-$1100 for a broken Bypass Valve. Tech stated old style weighted valve was rusted open and needed to be replaced with the newer electronic controlled valve which cost $1100 to replace. He would not provide an mechanical valve option, which had worked well in my hope for 10 years. I did some research and found a Honeywell CPRD14 TrueZONE Bypass Damper for under $100 on Amazon (adjustable tension valve). Took me an hour to replace and found it wasn't rusted, but the weld holding the flap was broken. Once that was solve and working correctly with the new bypass, I still did not have the pressure in some rooms that I used to have. The old valve was also missing the weatherstrip seal, which a was able to remove from my blower fan. A little more research online and found another issue I was having. My duct-work was being pinched from the hanging ties and cutting off airflow to 3 of my rooms (this should have been obvious to the trained eye). Once that was corrected, all rooms were back to normal pressure. I'm certain the the initial diagnoses of the damaged bypass was accurate, but definitely concerned about the estimate provided to replace the Bypass and additional work that would have been recommended to get the zones back to normal airflow.

I hired them after a storm fried the control board of the HVAC. They were the first to call back and I hired the based on the rating and decided to ignore the one review that I actually relate right now. The first visit was on time, actually before the scheduled time, but it didn't do more than diagnose the issue as the part had to be ordered. They charged $79 for the visit, but the money is refunded if the repair work is done with them. On the agreed date I got a call first thing in the morning letting me know that the technician was going to be there between 1 and 3pm that day. Around 2.40pm I called them and the person who answered the phone said that they were just about to call me to let me know it will 20-30min before the technician will be at my house. Around 3.30pm, when the technician had still not arrived, I made another call and they promised the technician was going to be at my house in 5min. The 5 minutes turned into 25 and almost one hour after the scheduled window the technician finally arrived. I have nothing bad to say about the technician (Matthew). He was nice and courteous and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend him, but maybe if he worked for another company. The piece was replaced (a few wires had to be removed from the old board and connected into the new one via push/release connectors) and less than half hour later the system was up and running. I looked the part up on amazon and the price was $150. Judging by the total ($713) and the amount of work (2 times 30min) they are charging $563/hr for labor!!! That's a lot even for an emergency visit, which this was not.

"We apologize for the timeliness of our technician on your second visit with us. We always try to give our customers a 2-hour window on when our technician will arrive. Unfortunately with our line of business, there are circumstances that arise and technicians might run late due to helping a customer to get cool air in their home. We received a notice from Home Adviser Saturday morning at approximately 9am and we were at your door 2 hours later after our initial contact. The first time we were at your home our technician spent approx. an hour at your home diagnosing your system. Most of our local suppliers have limited Saturday hours or not open which is why we couldn't fix the issue the same day. We ordered a new part first thing on Monday morning and booked your call. The price that we charged you, $713, included a Priority Advantage Club membership.= $513 for your repair. As with most things you purchase online, you would get a cheaper price than buying it at a local supplier. You would also miss out on warranties. We gave you a 5yr warranty on your repair as well. We stand behind all of the work we do. Considering the amount of time we invested overall on fixing your unit, I'd say that the price we charged you was fair."

They did a tremendous amount of work in a short time. They left no mess and cleaned up after being done. Besides the new fixtures, you couldn't tell there was any work done. My utility bill decreased approximately $60-70 per month in comparison with the previous system and my house is more comfortable.
