"Your original call for a/c service was on a Sunday and the technician found that your condenser fan motor had failed. The typical option for an after hours service call would be to put in an aftermarket motor that our technicians carry on their vehicles to get you cooling immediately as opposed to leaving you not cooling and using an OEM motor at a later time. The aftermarket motor did in fact make noise and we offered a special deal for you to come back out to replace the aftermarket motor with a Factory OEM motor for an additional $250. Morrow Mechanical always strives to provide the best customer service possible and our pricing is based on a flat rate system whether that repair takes 15 minutes or 2 hours."
"We apologize for the timeliness of our technician on your second visit with us. We always try to give our customers a 2-hour window on when our technician will arrive. Unfortunately with our line of business, there are circumstances that arise and technicians might run late due to helping a customer to get cool air in their home. We received a notice from Home Adviser Saturday morning at approximately 9am and we were at your door 2 hours later after our initial contact. The first time we were at your home our technician spent approx. an hour at your home diagnosing your system. Most of our local suppliers have limited Saturday hours or not open which is why we couldn't fix the issue the same day. We ordered a new part first thing on Monday morning and booked your call. The price that we charged you, $713, included a Priority Advantage Club membership.= $513 for your repair. As with most things you purchase online, you would get a cheaper price than buying it at a local supplier. You would also miss out on warranties. We gave you a 5yr warranty on your repair as well. We stand behind all of the work we do. Considering the amount of time we invested overall on fixing your unit, I'd say that the price we charged you was fair."
