A delayed review, but still impressed with the completed project by Mt. Olive. Norberto along with his crew lead by Ali did an awesome job and completed my project just as I envisioned it. A year later, the new front porch, steps, stones and siding on 3 sides of house look as good as the day it was finished. Still very satisfied with the quality of the work.

I had a large section of fence that had blown over due to rotting posts. Norberto came out to assess the damage and got back to me the next day with a quote. He was able to man the project the following week and complete the work in 2 days time. Workmanship was excellent and I’m very pleased with the end product. I highly recommend Mount Olive.

After extensive research and multiple interviews and quotes, I selected Mount Olive Landscape and Construction to replace my wood fence with a new composite (Trex) fence. Their price was competitive and their references all checked out. I’m so glad I selected this company. I am extremely pleased with the new fence. My fence installation had multiple challenges including: Part of the fence needed to be installed on an existing concrete retaining wall. Multiple grades were involved, A large cedar tree straddled the fence line. Some parts of the fence were curved at less than 90 degree angles. Multiple fence heights were involved. Norberto’s crew was up to each of these challenges. They know fences! If you’re in the market for a new fence, consider composite (Trex). Composite is more money than wood, but is well worth it in the long run. Then consider Mount Olive Landscape and Construction. I highly recommend Norberto and his crew. I think you’ll be pleased with the results for many (many) years.

Norberto was prompt in responding to a time sensitive situation (irrigation leak) and was clearly intelligent and. knowledgeable about his business. His associate, Troy had no trouble understanding the old valve system and easily replaced valves and solenoids - leak repaired! This company was responsive and easy to work with. And a fund of info re: landscaping needs and irrigation. We will definitely use them again.

Norberto Guevara is the owner of Mount Olive Construction. He is an honest, hard working young man with a crew to match. Everyone pitches in and does their best; no one is looking for a shortcut. The pride they all take in their work is a very nice change! I felt very fortunate to have them do a large landscaping job for me that produced excellent results. I have put off this project due to worry about finding a worthy contractor who was honest and had the expertise to work to my satisfaction. Please look no further than Mount Olive and Norberto when you seek professionalism and a work ethic that is admirable.

The crew complete work in May 2025. Project complete included building a rock wall, repairing the fence and another rock wall, making a small patio with flagstone, building a raised bed, removing several shrubs and transplanting 2 shrubs and a small tree. The crew picked up the flagstone, and rocks and also compost to use in the garden. In addition, several indoor projects were building a mantel, doors for a small closet and cabinet and dry covers in the laundry room. Norbert was great to work with and Ali for his carpentry skill, as well as the crew. The all worked hard, were efficient and very professional.

Mt. Olive was a great choice for our lawn and irrigation project. Norberto and his team were responsive and got the work done on schedule. When there was a hiccup that required changing the approach, Norberto stuck with us and saw the project through with a very reasonable change order. Exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend Mt. Olive for your yard and landscaping work!

They work for me for a month, put a retaining wall in, all new fence, water system, all new plants and grass. And a lot of other stuff that went along with it. They kept me informed what was happening what they were doing. Every day they cleaned up before leaving for the day. Very professional and super nice. I totally would hire them again and recommend them.

The Owner really works to provide good quality and experience throughout a project

I needed to stabilize a slope. Norberto presented a plan for a retaining wall and drainage that was both functional and attractive. He provided a detailed bid for labor and materials that was competitive with several other companies He and his crew completed the job efficiently while taking care not to damage existing shrubbery and ornamentals. Norberto is professional and easy to work with. He was very good about coordinating with me. I have and will continue to use his company for other projects.
