Gas Heating and Furnace Service
The furnace that was installed was so loud I can't sleep. Then when I called them all they said was we installed it right its your problem now. I would never use them again.

"I researched our records and can't find a replacement install that matches this information so I believe this rating is for a different contractor. If you look at all of our other reviews it just doesn't match with what we do. If in fact we were the contractor please give us a call and ask for me. I realize some times they seem a bit high but it's more expensive then most people think to run a service company. We've got all these trucks, with all this insurance, that use all this fuel. We've got to stock all these parts and all these expenses just keep going up year after year. We do everything in our power to keep our expenses as low as possible to keep our prices as low as possible, but ya, it can seem a little high. Thanks, Bret Parkinson Owner"

Prompt & friendly service. The service man also kept the area clean and vacuumed up after himself. But they chared over $300 to cut a hole in the ceiling vent, plus the $65 for coming to look. That was a little high for 1 hour of work.

The arrived on time. After a analysis of the A/C problem they quoted a price to fix the actuator at the compressor and completed the work in the same visit.

They were here when they said, Had very helpful advise and completed required adjustments along with a new thermostat. **When contacted the gentlemen who called, left message. When I returned the call he advised he was driving and would call back when he pulled over. I was very impressed with the safety conscious gesture in addition to quick response.

Not extremely helpful. Within minutes, decided there was no power to the unit, and instead of trying to assist, told us to find an electrician. Changed a belt, and left. $84 for that?

"Offered refund to homeowner, she declined. Service call fee $59 + $25 to change belt equals $84. No additional fee for electrical problem. Technician was at the house for over one hour. Within minutes he did determine there was no power to furnace. Waited while homeowner removed paneling to access electrical connection at furnace for further testing. Tested breaker at panel and determined there was a break in wire between breaker and furnace, decided this problem would better be solved by electrician, recommended such to owner. Electriciain had previously recommended replacing breaker panel and some wiring. That work had not been done."

Woke up at 4am to a furnace that was not working at all, three days before Christmas and the house is 55 degrees. Put in a request via email at 5:30am, they called me at 6am, their tech was at my front door by 8am and by noon my 15 year old furnace that they could have easily told me needed replacing was purring like a kitten and my house was cozy and warm again. Terriffic customer service, top notch and friendly, honest, tech, excellent work and a fair price. If I could give them l0 stars I would. They definitely have a customer for life. Thank you so much Mountainwest !!!

Quick, straight forward and honest. The part I needed was a bit more than I had anticipated, however being a custom part that had to be ordered from the manufacturer, I can't blame Mountainwest. In fact, because the installer conveyed my dissatisfaction to the manufacturer, I got a decent discount on the part. Excellent service.
