**Scam Warning: Extremely Disappointed with Move 4 Less ? Hidden Charges, Incomplete Move, and Poor Service** I feel compelled to share my negative experience with Move 4 Less to warn others about their misleading business practices. I booked them for a simple move that included: - A king-size bed with frame - A sofa and ottoman - Two TVs - A few totes At the time of booking, I was quoted approximately **$400 for 2.5 hours** of moving service. I provided a clear and accurate list of the items to be moved, and there was no mention of any limitations or conditions that would prevent the job from being completed in that time frame. However, when the movers arrived, they informed me that although I had booked and was quoted for 2.5 hours, they would only be working **1.5 hours** of actual moving time ? significantly less than what I paid for. They also told me they **would not be able to move all of my items**, even though everything was pre-listed during the booking process.

I would NEVER recommend these movers and I mean EVER! They send as few people as possible to drive up the time. They sent 3 people to move a 5 bedroom, 2 level house. How that math makes sense is beyond me. When I called to politely ask why that made sense and could they send another mover out, Jennifer was rude and nasty to me. She told me if I wasnâ t there for the estimate (my wife was) that I donâ t have a say in what was executed. Which Iâ m not sure how that works, itâ s MY house and MY items. She then told me weâ re too far in the process to do anything about it. We are HALFWAY in the process and another mover could definitely be sent. Even if there was no solution, which there always is if your business cares about its customers, you should speak to your customers with respect and Jennifer has absolutely done a terrible job at that. Please please please, for the sake of your wallet and respect, use another company. Also, after speaking with Jennifer about issues with the logistics, she called the actual movers and lied to them, saying I said they were moving slow and â lollygaggingâ . Why cause a rift between the people doing the actual work and the customer when YOU are the problem? The movers have been wonderful, but they are OVERWORKED and they need HELP like I stated to Jennifer before she called and lied to them.

This company lacks accountability in every department they have before we even get to them be shady. Our sales rep, Angela, gave me an initial estimate of $4000 upon hearing my inventory list for my cross country move. We did a follow up video call and the estimate moved to $5000. We were supposed to have one final video call the week of move to confirm inventory, but that never happened. Then everything fell apart from there. The movers arrived March 27th and informed us half the stuff we packed was wrong and they wouldnt take it the way it was. So at 7am, while they are there, we are repacking half of our boxes and needing to buy ones from them (convenient, huh?). To give them one positive, they did handle our furniture nicely and with care. After the truck was loaded, we were given the final price of $6200. So we went from $4000 to $5000 to $6200. We paid half up front after the truck was loaded seeing as the job is only half complete and off we went. What initially sold us was that we were told that we would have our stuff by the first week of April by Angela. When we arrived to our destination, we had issues with our apartment and called her immediately to tell her we needed to change addresses. We found a new apartment the very next day and were informed that our delivery schedule should be the same. Week 1 went by, no news. Week 2, we get a call that our stuff should arrive the latest April 14th, so I plan my work week accordingly. Then I get a call on April 12th from Walter that our stuff would get there April 20th. I inform him of the call i received and he informed me that they have no record of that call being placed. I have a 4 month old who has half his stuff on this truck with them, already 2 weeks past when I was promised and I was told "this is what we have". I tried to call Angela to see if we could maybe get a discount due to the delay, only for Walter to get back on the phone and tell me I will no longer be speaking to Angela, that I will only be speaking to him now and that she can't make my delivery come faster. So i told him that I knew that, and ask him if he will give me a discount then being I was given false info and had to call out a day of work now. "I dont handle prices, I only do dispatch". Well Walter, then don't tell me your responsible for my stuff now and tell whoever works with you in dispatch to make sure they have the dates right before they call! The day of move in, they used one 3rd party mover thelp their driver unload. The 3rd party gentlemen was a bit older but still unloading pretty quick while the driver was on the phone most of the time, prompting the 3rd party guy to make comments to me too about it. Turns out our driver was on the phone with Walter who was demanding I pay the rest of the money due up front and it had to be cash or money order and not acredit card like i paid FOR THE INITIAL HALF PAYMENT I paid on the 28th. Someone on the customer care side got that squared away where I did pay with my card, but why am I paying for the full service before my stuff is unloaded when the service isn't fully complete? Movers left. The 3rd party guy wrapped most of the trash up and the driver said he would take that with him, but I found it just pushed to the side in front of our neighbors door instead. We had damaged items (dresser and a desk). We were going to put a claim in with the basic insurance coverage they had but we were emailed to take a lesser payout for the stuff than what would've been covered. I mentioned this to them so they offered us $200 back which we wound up taking. Clearly they don't want whatever repercussion that comes with a customer filing an insurance claim and with how this company handled our move, I didn't want to have to fight them anymore for anything and just want to forget we ever used this company to be...

Horrendous Experience!! Severe damage to my furniture. continually delayed, denied and blocked me at every turn going on a year to collect from the Deluxe insurance they provided and charged me extra for.They would not pay and tried to force me to sign a gag order and release of any claims BEFORE continuing to engage me in any correspondence to try resolve claim. Smashed boxes and broke furniture and denied. Crushed boxs they contented didn't know what is in the the clearly marked boxes. Smashed furniture and denied. ( had sent before loading Pictures they took and after receiving pictures). Megan and her adjusters Yoni blocked every effort and repeatedly "lost" documentations of my damage.

Background: â ¢ We hired Move4Less in Las Vegas. We signed a contract, paid them but they did not complete their job. â ¢ It was a breach of contract. We performed our obligation to pay; Move4less did not. Mathew and Jose: â ¢ There were 2 workers: Mathew and Jose. They left before the move was completed. â ¢ Mathew promised to come back but did not. Damaged furniture: â ¢ Various pieces of furniture were damaged: sofa bed, twin beds, TV set. â ¢ We hired a handyman to fix the beds. â ¢ We spent $500 plus $100 = $600 for furniture plus cost of new TV. Complaint and offer: â ¢ We called the office and was referred to Megan. â ¢ Megan instructed us to file a complaint with Anthem Claim Management. â ¢ Anthem rejected our claim citing a certain â Carmack Amendmentâ because our move was interstate commerce but our move was inside Nevada. â ¢ They offered $144 which was humiliating. â ¢ Yoni instructed us to file for arbitration. Cost would exceed $1,000. â ¢ To spend about $1,600 to collect < $600 plus the headache of arbitration did not make sense. â ¢ We decided to forego arbitration and warn others from becoming victims. Bottom line: â ¢ Do not hire this company. They have no clue of customer service. â ¢ All of them conspire against you, the customer. Not one tried to help. â ¢ Our experience was horrible. â ¢ Cards were stacked against us. They were very respectfult and kind to my elderly mother who was not apart of the move. They were careful with my belongings especially with my glass collection which is very sentimental. They kept to their quoted time frame. I would definitely hire them again.

1) prices are estimates. They pre charge for boxes before packing and won't refund if you don't use. They pre charge for time estimated finished while holding your furniture hostage but won't refund if completed sooner. They don't tell you up front verbally in phone estimate addition charge for drive time from their office and back.. they refuse to acknowledge their drivers damaged buildings, property or furniture and all they are concerned with is getting paid. They don't care if you say you are hiring a lawyer, giving them 1 star

Professional and did a great job!

The two young men were very nice. By all appearances it looked liked they were packing the truck properly. When all of my garage and small townhouse apartment should have fit in a 26 foot truck. One room of floor shelves, pictures, treadmill, and several miscellaneous items were left behind and I ended up paying them $125 more for their poor job. I hired another company to finish things which cost me $400 more. Something to consider? ?being in business longer 20 years versus 3 years? isn?t always the first thing a perspective customer should consider.

I asked for a delivery on the 13th was informed today they do not even ship the items til were ready for delivery this was never explained and now they will not even ship our stuff until Wed and even then he could not assure me they had a driver for this trip we may never get our stuff do not use this company.

Movers were great. Coordination team was horrible. ( dispatch mainly) Time was wrong. I was told to keep my phone near me to not miss a call. 1 person would call with arrival time then someone else would call with a different time.

So far, so good. Our shipment is in storage so won't see it for a few months. The pack out went great. The crew did a great job wrapping and packing.

Move 4 Less moving company is the worst moving company I have ever hired. They literally left bunch my stuff behind saying they wouldnt fit in the truck. They had filled up the truck with other peoples stuff to maximize their profit. So they didnt have room for mine. Unbelievable!!! Even for a disreputable low quality moving company like them. I was left with over few hundred pounds of stuff such as weights and workout equipment in an empty apartment that I had to leave in few hours. They created a nightmare for me. I had to pay over $200 to have someone trash my weights and workout equipment. They are the most unprofessional people. Dont fall for polite phone conversations. They will screw you over once your stuff are loaded in the truck.

They dropped a cabinet down the stairs, destroyed the cabinet, and dented the wall. They tried to ignore it like it never happened. Make sure you get a quote in writing. I only used them for about 3 hours (min 4 hours) and somehow the price was about $200 more than the initial quote.

Efficient

The guys worked really hard and it was a much longer day than expected. They were friendly and knew what they were doing. They forgot two paintings on the truck (large ones) which was weird since they were very diligent the whole time. They came back the next day and delivered those no charge.
