    Bait and switch. Moved less than a mile away with a one bedroom ground floor apartment. I was quoted $500 *tops* for the job and they ended up billing $871 for it. They dinged walls and the movers smelled strongly like cigarettes. The move itself was fine, but this was double the price it should have been.

    This was a horrible experience. My husband shared ahead of time that we had a large house with lots of furniture including a pool table and hot tub. He did a video walk through with their estimator and we got a quote. We agreed knowing full well that it might be a little more as their time estimate seemed low. We were given an arrival window of 8-12. At 9 I called to ensure the wire had gone through since I sent them my confirmation and never got called back and to see if they were on their way. I was told yes everything was good and they were on their way. At 12:15 no one had called or showed up. So I called again. I was told they had gotten a late start because one of the trucks was being worked on. That they were just getting to Ventura still almost two hours away from my house. They show up just after two and all seems to be going well. Then at 7:15 I get put on the phone by the foreman telling me they have to leave at 7:45 because the drivers have been working since 8. I am not 6 hours away from LA. The next day four come back there were 6 the day before. They express concern that the one truck may be too heavy. I ask if they should move stuff from the lighter one and switch they say no, They wind up leaving a large amount in the garage and the entire shed and back patio. They ask for another $1539.01 for materials and labor. I pay it in cash. The stuff was supposed to be delivered in Susanville the next day. They explain they are going to weigh the trucks because again they are concerned about weight. Two hours later my husband up in Susanville gets a call that they are 1,000 pounds overweight. He says to call me with options. Twenty minutes later no phone call but the trucks arrive. The back up next to each other and start transferring from one to another. I mention I did not receive a call, I then get a call from their dispatch. I ask which option transferring or unloading some gets the truck up there tomorrow. He says unloading so I say unload. He said he would call the two drivers and let them know. I also go tell them my decision. They kept transferring. Then informed me they were heading back to scales. I said if there is any chance you are over please just unload some more. He said no we are good. 45 minutes later they return and tell me they are still 1,000 pounds over. I say how is that possible if it was only 1,000 to start? The driver says we were 3,000 to start so their office people lied to us. The stuff did make it to Susanville and then they tried to charge us another 2,000 for labor!! They loaded too much, did not take any suggestions or advice so there is no way we are responsible for that labor.Move Central is filled with liars and I believe purposely underestimated our costs. As it is I still have a large amount of stuff and have already filled one U-Haul Ubox, Never trust them!! Also, they broke a window yes their insurance reached out but I had to clean the broken glass and board up the window. They spilled sodas in the garage and left a sticky mess and knocked over a shelf and did not put it or itâ s contents back,

    If you have a poor negative experience with this company, please reach out to me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYâ ¦.READ THE OTHER REVIEWS THAT HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY⠦⠦. Letâ s all band together and file a class action lawsuit⠦⠦⠦. they arenâ t protected by any means if theyâ re screwing customers over consumers have rights!! I donâ t know what kind of people are hiring this moving company or leaving these 5* reviews, but I warn you all to stay clear of this â companyâ if you work hard for your property trust me this company doesnâ t value your time or your belongings. Dispatch will call you and bully you. They will waste your time. They damaged nearly every piece of our furniture. They argued with me on how to take my bedframe apart and didnâ t do it until they got to the new apartment. They took the bedframe apart in the lobby and brought it up to our apartment damaged. They didnâ t even put the bedframe together correctly left screws out. The movers on this job threatened us, walked off the job and took a break. They also took multiple phone calls welling moving our property. One guy told their dispatch supervisor they didnâ t get a lunch or a break. And to lie and be unethical about getting a break or wasting a customers time and billing them for it is unethical. Downright fraudulent. Do not hire this company. One of the movers complained that he didnâ t like his job and he was only getting $21 an hr - he also mentioned that he had another job at noon, so they needed to rush and move us, iâ m sorry that right there is a red flag. You donâ t rush with the customer to get to another job thatâ s poor customer service we paid for you guys to move us in a professional and safe manner. They didnâ t even bring appropriate wardrobe boxes. The boxes they brought were damaged ripped up and unable to be used. We were forced to use garbage wardrobe boxes. Then we had our own supplies for the TV. They didnâ t even properly use the TV cover. They taped it on the front and wrap the TV cover and charged us for a box we didnâ t receive. We all have the option to leave a review and what kind of review we want to leave you want to give this company five stars go for it. I donâ t even believe one star justifies the service we received. They argued with us, got in our face and stated that they were going to take a break and take our stuff to a gas station. That is the most shady unethical thing Iâ ve heard from a moving company in a long time. They breached their contract and they think itâ s over because they paid us $.60 Per pound for the damage items. They use Amazon to look up similar items. Fraud!!!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!

    They completely destroyed several pieces of furniture and damaged even more. Their Basic Value Protection Agreement only covers 60 cents for every pound of damaged furniture, and even that they wouldn't honor. It was 1,700 pounds of furniture that was destroyed or damaged and they only offered $300. Even if they had honored their agreement it still wouldn't have gotten close to covering the amount of costs we ended up incurring from needing to buy new furniture but they didn't even do that. They've been reported to the Better Business Bureau for breach of contract.

    IMPORTANT: This business was operating under a Suspended Licenses and also goes by Tier One, their Permit of Household Goods transportation was suspended from 9/13-9/18 most recently. CHECK OUT THEIR BBB RATING AND COMPLAINTS. If you review all of their Positive Reviews on Facebook, Google, and other platforms they are by brand new profiles with no information and only 1 review of the company. Some of the spam reviews even like to use movie character actor/actress names. This company is the worst I have ever dealt with in my life and refuses to do anything to make things right. Quoted $1024 for move included gas travel expenses, moving blankets/protection, for local move from old Apt to Move Central Storage on 9/1/2023 then Move Central Storage to new Apt on 9/7/2023. $500 Hold Required to be applied toward final cost 8/29/2023: Pay $500 secure move, notified $636 additional placed on hold for 9/1 and 9/7 total of $1172 ($748 more than quote) 9/1/2023: Boxes already moved down stairs by Jeremy. Omar & Ferdancio movers arrive state this won't take long so need to drag it out longer for more money. Omar doesnt help, I help Fer, during move Omar calls and curses and talks about me to employee. Move estimated 2 hours takes 4.5 hours. Card is attempted to be charged $485 for moving materials that were to be included w/o permission. Movers sit in truck and tell me they have to go right to another move. I receive a call and am told I am charged for 6.5 hours despite movers not even left. Complaint is made promised $200 refund for first half of move and movers will not be part of second half of move. 9/3/2023 Letter sent to Angel Silva 9/5,9/6/2023: Max, Caesar and CJ assure movers will not be involved CJ stated they aren't even scheduled that day 9/7/2023: Same Movers arrive, immediately make it known about complaint, proceed to drop, drag, scratch, box cut property, before leaving urinate all over my floors and toilet. Attempts to charge card for 7.15 Hours and says movers will not leave until we pay. Calls immediately made promise all property will be repaired or replaced by Angel. Send over photos once all unpacked. 9/11/2023: Letter Photos Sent over 9/14/2023: No refund for first half of move and no response any calls made told will call back never do. Speak with CJ and he stated no repairs or replacement and laughs about urination. Ignore any calls/emails , fake bottom reviews, suspended license for transportation of home goods on CA gov site.

    I have lived in 7 countries and moved 10 times with professional movers and this is the worst move to date. We had a missing IPad that was clearly taken when checked on Find Me! When calling customer service and the Manager about this 2 days, no response. I called to let them know so it does not happen to someone else. Do not do a zoom estimate. Our estimate was approximately $1,500 and one truck and ended up at $3,100 and 2 trucks. I had to personally drive them to get a 2nd truck. We estimated it at 7 storage units and it is now 13 units. They did not just miss by a small %. Beware of the bait and switch when compared to real professional movers in price. They do not provide runners unless you ask. If you have hardwood you may want to ask about this. In general, they worked hard and wrapped the furniture well. I tried to avoid posting something but seems they do not care. My recommendation stay away!

    Perfect service, they actually called to check if they could start a little earlier than planned, which was ok for us. They also did an amazing job moving all our big items into 3 story house. It was rather challenging due to the stairs but they did everything with ease. Thanks!

    Over the past 5 years I have used Move Central for multiple jobs for my self and for my family. I decided to write a review since they never disappointed. Always on top! They know well their job. Itâ s easy to schedule and the price is good. The crew is always polite and helpful.
