I would not recommend them because they overcharged and they did not put things back. I thought they took advantage of us and everything about it was distasteful. They sent 3 people out to do the job when they only really needed 2.

Movers on the Go did a great job with our recent move. They were timely, friendly and professional, fast, and careful with both our possessions and the building, and very reasonably priced. We have some large furniture that had to be moved through some tight spaces in our old condo - they were careful with both our furniture and the building. At our new house, they kindly put boxes in the rooms we requested, making unpacking easy for us. Per my request, they wrapped all of our large art pieces in moving blankets, and everything came through the move in good condition. <br /> This is our second time moving with Dominic and his crew, and they did a great job both times. We're very satisfied and highly recommend Movers on the Go! <br />

Contacted the company via AngiesList and Domenic called me back within 30 minutes. Very helpful and explained all the options, how they work, etc. The job I needed done was to move old appliances (stove and refrigerator) over a kitchen island onto the living room, then the reverse for new appliances. This was a minimum size job (2 hours) but I was concerned about coordinating the timing with a separate appliance delivery company. Domenic and his company were flexible, reasonable on cost, worked with me, courteous and professional, and were on time to the minute. I would hire then again no problems.

Buyer Beware - I sincerely wish I had read all the reviews on Angies List before hiring them. I called Domenic because the move was scheduled for 1pm, but they didn't show up till 4pm as their first move took longer than expected. On the phone, he told me it was $150/hour and hour for three men. He showed up with 4 men and didn't tell me till it was time to pay him, that he jacked up the rate $170/hour because he decided to bring an extra man. He immediately complained to me that the job was bigger than I said. I had everything packed, and wasn't asking him to move a refrigerator or a washer/dryer. I was moving three miles down the road to a brand new townhouse that was in pristine condition (brand new construction). In moving my furniture to my brand new townhouse, his men scuffed my hallways and the kicks of my stairs. I pointed out the black scuff marks to Domenic. His response was that I could use soap and water to get them out. He also suggested that the condo association may touch them up for me. Condo associations do not do any repairs inside the condo once you purchase it. I was really upset, and he collected his money (now it cost me $1020 because he wanted to charge me $170/hour instead of the agreed upon $150/hour). I have since written him a negative review on yelp, to which he has slandered my character on yelp and insisted that I was pathetic, needed to get a life, and claimed his men never scuffed my walls. He also offered to give me $100 for the scuffed walls. It cost me $800 to fix the damaged walls and get rid of all the scuff marks on the hallways and stair kicks. I have cancelled checks to prove I had this work done. I have further reported him to the BBB. This man is a complete scam artist and because I am asking to be reimbursed because of the damage to the walls, he is insisting I wanted a free move. A gallon of paint costs $40, so to offer me a $100 for all the damage they did is ludicrous. This is the first time I have ever had this kind of experience with a moving company. If you're going to spend money on movers, I recommend you use Gentle Giant. <br />

It clearly shows Andrea you are clearly looking for a free move.My men did an impeccable job 4.5 hours to do 5 rooms of and 70 very large 6.0 cube boxes loaded with books and her china clothing and what ever else she put in them these boxes are made for lighter items not 150lbs.Yes this job was scheduled for 1:00pm we showed up late cause the first job took longer.That happens when your not the first job of the day. That day we spoke to Andrea on the phone and let her know we were going to be late she was ok with it.She is now saying we scuffed her walls maybe because the guys were sweating at 98deg outside and the shirt rubed on the wall. Are you kidding $800 you must of hired Sherwin Williams himself.There is no way.During the move Andrea says she only has a $1000 I said ok we will do our best.At the beginng when we arrived I had said I have 4 men at $170.00 per hour or 3 men at $150.00per hour she said ok 4 men is ok.I said if you don't want 4 men 1 man will step out she said OK 4 men.Everything got wraped top to bottom without having any damage to any of the furniture.Andrea has posted 5-6 times on Yelp.com,Twice on the Better business Bureau now Angies list.She clearly is disturbed.I had offered her some money she had refused.Andrea tells the Better Business Bureau she talked to me three times after this move on June28,2013 That's a LIE.I can't believe someone like her would go to this extreme like I drove my truck into her townhouse.And the other thing well I was wrapping her furniture up she tells me how horrible Road Warrior moving company was.Now she says use Gentle Giant wich she never used.Because she told me who she used.If any moving company looks at this girls review do not move her in the future she is looking for a FREE move.[member name removed] [member information removed] Thank you DF"

They were just fine. They arrived on time. I had a slightly larger load than the Big Deal allotted for, so we paid them extra to cover the extra room. If I still had things that needed hauling away, I would call them.

This was an amazing experience. Moving is never fun but these guys managed to make this experience seamless and almost perfect <br /> They arrived on time, took no breaks whatsoever (I even overheard the owner tell a prospective client who called that he was on the job) <br /> Professional and meticulous. <br /> They did all that was asked of them pre-move and during the move <br /> I have several deliveries of furniture to my condo and invariably had some wall nicked or furniture damaged but with Dom and his men absolutely nothing. including hallways and common areas. <br /> Their estimate was right on and Dom did his best to minimize my expense <br /> I could not be more pleased <br /> Also arranging my storage unit went like a breeze, making sure everything was neatly stacked for long term storage. <br /> No hesitation to hire them again and recommend them <br />

PHENOMENAL! <br /> I chose Movers on the Go because of their Angie's List reviews. After speaking with Dominic I felt even more at ease with my choice. He seemed like a great guy who was invested in the integrity of his business. I also liked that the owners would be on site assisting with the move. <br /> Movers on the Go arrived 5 minutes early, which was impressive considering it was an early Sunday morning move. They took great care in wrapping our furniture to avoid damage. They were polite and courteous throughout and also had a nice sense of humor. They made sure to point out any concerns they had and asked our permission before doing anything they were unsure of. <br /> This move was a challenge because we went from a ground level unit, which was easy to a 5th floor walk up with some tricky corners. Their work was coordinated and flawless. BUT the most impressive part was when they had to manually haul up our Armoire. It was the craziest thing to watch, Dominic and Andrew lifting this Armoire up 5 stories while John guided them from below. By the time they got it up to our balcony, I was convinced I lost years off my life because I was so nervous for them. They however seemed cool and collected and even stopped to wave at my husband below. It was nothing short of amazing. <br /> Additionally their pricing was beyond reasonable. I have paid twice as much for movers who damaged my stuff. Moves on the Go damaged nothing! <br /> I highly recommend using them for your next move! It was truly a great experience! <br />

They did a good job but they weren't able to take as much of the junk that I would have liked in the 4 hours. There were very honest though and they did give me a referral for someone else that would do the rest of the job.
