About us
Hello, Im Joseph Murdy, the owner of Movin Murdy, Inc. I started in the moving business at the age of 18 as a helper-driver. I then became an owner operator for North American Van Lines and operated in 48 states. Assistant safety manager for a large, family-owned moving company became my next challenge. I was then promoted to the position of project manager for the same family-owned moving company where I supervised some of the largest commercial moves in the city of Pittsburgh, including PNC. I then started my company in August, 2002. Movin Murdy, Inc., was incorporated in August, 2002 and started as a commercial moving company, which quickly became a full service moving company in June, 2006. My expertise with moving large scale companies, incorporating blueprints, move meetings, and project management made Movin Murdy the excellent moving company it is today.
