"We gave an estimate for repair that would of included a one year warranty on parts and labor. Charged our $79 trip charge. The customer decided to take our estimate (including part number information) and attempt the repair on his own. He may of purchased the wrong part, a defective part or made an error in installing. Our technician is factory trained with over 30 of experience. If we had done the repair as estimated, any "misdiagnosis" would of been on us and we would of corrected the problem without question. Customer chose to use our estimate and do his own repair. Often times there are multiple issues that need to be corrected during repair process. Customer did not give us the opportunity and then gives us a bad review for a repair we did not perform."
