I scheduled an appointment to repair my stove with a pleasant lady and discussed my appliance being covered under warranty per the Maine State Express and Implied warranty law as I purchased less than 4 years ago. I was advised to show my purchase receipt to the technician and he would change the status to warranty repair. I discussed this again with the technician on the day of service and he took a copy of the receipt to bring back to the office. He did not repair my stove as he had to order parts which I was advised would take at least 5 business days to come in, they would have to schedule another visit for the actual repair. The following day I received an email request to contact their office regarding my service visit. I did so and was informed that they do not do warranty repairs on Whirlpool appliances. When I questioned the information I was given when I scheduled the appointment, I had my head bitten off and was advised this was my fault as I did not tell them when they made the confirmation call that this was a warranty repair and that they do not do Whirlpool warranty work and that I should call Whirlpool. Well, as I had already had this conversation with the lady I made the appointment with, I did not realize I was supposed to have it again. I was not asked if this was a warranty repair by the person making the confirmation call, his only concern is whether or not my stove was gas or electric as they have just lost their gas appliance repair technician and would not be able to repair a gas appliance. This confirmation call was made to my work number which I had not provided as I work in a busy medical office and cannot take personal calls. I can only surmise they got my work number from the caller ID as I had to use my lunch break to make the repair appointment. I would not recommend utilizing this business due to the poor communication and even more poor customer service, It is a shame that so many businesses in the time of pandemic are struggling to stay afloat, but if you are an essential service you can afford to be rude to customers and blame them for misinformation provided by your staff. I understand that miscommunications can happen and I would have been understanding if this had been acknowledged in a civil tone of voice instead of being spoken to harshly and having it made clear they had no accountability for the erroneous information provided went the initial call was to make to see if they could repair my appliance. Anyone who would consider hiring this business I would advise you to proceed with extreme caution and ask clarifying questions repeatedly.

Living alone I like that I was messaged when the repairman was to arrive along with his picture that made me feel more at ease letting someone in my house. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my dishwasher. Gave me. a quick estimate of the cost. Returned in 2 days to fix which took a little longer then he thought it would but he didn't leave until my dishwasher was working. Great company would use again.
