The issue with the dryer was simply a huge clog in the dryer vent hose, which I helped the technician diagnose, but only after two weeks of not having a dryer while we waited for a new circuit board, which blew out after a faulty gas valve was installed in an effort to fix the dryer. Not their fault of course, but after much money and time, the dryer did not even work until I realized the heat was not reaching the vent. Everything looked clean, but inside of the vent hose there was a giant ball of lint clogging the dryer system and preventing the unit from heating up and drying the clothes.

This was an unusual situation where all he had to do was unplug my dryer and plug it back in. Apparently recent power outages caused the electronic components to confuse the power board and needed to reset with this action. He had to charge a service call, but could have been worse. Nick was very nice. Recommend!
