The technician said I needed a part for my stove and he would order it. Weeks went by and I heard nothing so I ordered the part myself. It was half the price Mr Appliance quoted. It then took a few more weeks for the technician to return to install the part. When he arrived he did not know how to gain access for the repair. He then said he was not comfortable with my stove and would not continue. I wish he just said that in the beginning.

A very proffessinal and personable company. It took a little while to figure out what was wrong with our dryer but they were determined and it's working great now. Saved us from having to buy a new one. Very reasonable pricing and friendly staff.

This company was not only timely but professional. The Gentleman that came out to fix our oven was here on time and was great to deal with. he went right to work and fixed the igniter in the oven. I highly recommend them over BGE Home. Both emails and text messages were set out to not only the time they would be there but a pic of the repairman showing up at your door. Very smart!

Came ready to go and pleasant and knowledgeable. Took care of problems with icemaker: water did not come out and no ice. I now have my "new" happy fridge back and crushed or cubed ice and cold fresh water!

The tech told me I needed to replace another part instead of just the part I needed in order to inflate the job.

"Hi Deborah, Our tech Eric recommended replacing both the motor mechanism responsible for opening and closing the flap as well as the spring-loaded flap both common issues with your appliance. Since we guarantee our work for a long period of time we need to give you the worst-case scenario for fixing so we aren't revisiting shortly after the repair. I wish you the best in repairing on your own as we were charging the same amount for labor to replace both parts vs the single part. We have a standard pricing guide our techs use and they are not incentivised to inflate a job, the only incentive they have is to offer the best possible service that empowers are customers to share their positive experience. Mr Appliance was very responsive to my inquiries when scheduling my appointment. The tech Eric that came out was courteous and professional. However, my washing machine is a pretty nice unit so it had some heft to it. Eric didn't have a dolly or straps in the work vehicle to be able to hoist the unit an inch above the washing machine drain pan. In his attempt to to move the unit, he ended up cracking the front corners of my drain pan. He did end up determining that to fix the unit would be as much as purchasing another unit. I gave the service 3 stars due to the damage to the drain pan and the work vehicle not having the equipment needed to move current/modern higher end units. 10/7/2019 Update Jason and his wife, owners of Mr Appliance, contacted me a day later to apologize about the cracked drain pan and offered to replace the pan to make things right. Their customer service and their willingness to take responsibility for their work is first rate. They replaced and installed the pan as they said they would. It is my opinion that the way a business treats its customers is a benchmark of their work. I would highly recommend Mr Appliance to anyone in need of appliance repair because you know they will either get it right or make it right.
