My motor-driven awning worked flawlessly but its fabric was faded and mildewed; so, on 5/15/21, I paid Mr Awnings to install new fabric. On 8/24/21 their technicians did, and left. The first time I tried to extend the awning, it would not move. After several tries it extended, but then it would not retract. After several tries it retracted but abnormally slowly; then it would not extend. The fabric was cockeyed; it could not roll straight, smoothly, straight and flat onto the aluminum roller. It had wrinkles so large that they overlapped, formed creases, and jammed the awnings mechanism. I e-mailed descriptions and photos to Mr Awnings manager Paula Salem and proprietor Jay Salem and asked for someone to visit. They refused, saying that there was NO WARRANTY on the installation. Mr Salem said -- FALSELY and BASELESSLY -- that I had caused the problem by ordering fabric 6 inchs too long (not too wide). How this could cause crooked, uneven winding of the fabric, he could not say.
