Spoke with Ken, the owner, and immediately felt comfortable. Brandon came out to give us a price on the electric and was extremely professional and knowledgeable about what needed to be done and answered all of our questions. For reference I had the panel completely replaced along with the outside service that needed to be updated. It was a big job and I am very happy with how it all worked out. Well worth the money for peace of mind. My decision to go with them was made on my initial conversation with Ken and then with Brandon’s consultation and now that the work is all done, I am really happy and would recommend them to anyone. Will definitely use them in the future for any other projects.

I called Mr. Electric of Highland park to determine whether there was a problem with powering up my roof cables due to the heavy snow we had over this past weekend in the Chicago region. I called on Sunday, and (thinking not to receive a call back until the upcoming week) the owner, Ken, returned my call the same day. I was able to have one of his techs, Daniel, who I used a couple of weeks ago, come out and took care of the issue pronto. I can only HIGHLY recommend Mr. Electric of Highland park for its promptness, attention to detail, courteousness, and certainly expertise.

The job was done the next day promptly at 8 am as promised. Dimmer switch was replaced; electrician also pointed out and corrected issue with master panel.

Brandon arrived on time for the initial inspection and was extremely professional. He happily answered all my questions and explained the issues. He returned to do the work less than a week later, again arriving on time and conducted himself in a professional way. He completed his work within the expected time frame, and cleaned up after the work was done. I worked hire them again without hesitation.

Ken is very responsive and his staff is very diligent. We have a older home so it has its challenges. Mr Electric is very reasonable and intelligent when they estimated the time it would take for the job. It still took longer given the unknowns in this house and they still got the job done at no additional expense. I have already hired them a second time for a different problem. They are my electrician from now on.

After talking to multiple companies, Jay from Mr.Electric showed up. He was very professional and the only one who took the time to plan what I needed. He did a great job installing new outlets and switches for my new kitchen. Ask for Jay!

Super honest, we had no electricity, previous company that came (also recommended by Angi) said we need a new box ($2,850 cost, full day of work). Jay diagnosed the problem: a lose bolt! Tightened the bolt, electricity back immediately, no bs!! Thanks!
