Mr. Fix It

He did a great job.

Matt Matteson was not very professional. He took no notes about the job and therefore had to keep reasking what we wanted. He did not build things professionaly, but just a an amature might do. He overbid the materials by $1200. He order incorrect materials. His business practices were horrable, He told me his hourly rate than near the end of the project he gave me an invoice and charged me his labor and that or another worker. I suggest looking elsewhere for someone to do construction. He may be a good handyman but not a cantractor.

I am very disappointed with this company. He gave me a bid and pushed that he always bids high and he would communicate it there was going to be any cost over the bid. He made it very clear that he bids hight and he would almost bet that this would go under his bid. Well it went over 1000.00 over the bid and there were days he didnt show up or even call to let us know if he was coming to work on the deck or not. After the works was done he came two weeks later to pick up his mess and then leaves a pile of pieces that he couldnt get. H leaves us a note asking us if we cant clean up the rest he would come back to get it. It took three weeks.

He has started the project and will finish in a couple of day's,so far so good. Matt is very professional and has let me know what he find's and offer's segestions for a fix. Very happy with his work and will use him in the future.

This was a joint repair project with Matteson laying new plywood decking and flashing and the owner applying deck paint. Time and weather will answer the quality question. Matt was very prompt in responding to the initial contact and very prompt in pricing and completing the project.
