Doors - Repair
He arrived on time, and after a review of the doors that needed work he got right to it. He pointed out some defects that will ultimately allow the doors to be completely done right, but I was satisfied (and am satisfied) with the job one. I would definitely hire again. Good job.

Storm Door - Install
Put it up several times and took down several times. Nice about it until the end after it took 2.5 hours to install and he was very frustrated. He installed it crooked and I stated I would not be happy with that. That is why he had to continually take it back down. He stated it was a used door and that is why he had trouble and I agree with that but he knew ahead of time that it was. If he had the expertise he needed, it would not have been an issue. I feel he did not have the experience needed to truely be a handy man.

Brim, the service technican was great. He did a great job, had wonderful customer service qualities and was a gentleman at all times. My problem is cost which is not his fault. While i would recommend Mr. handyman as far as getting the job done correctly and efficently, I would warn about cost.

Drywall - Repair
handyman came out to look at a wall where we thought was water damage.( it was located behind a kitchen sink).signs of mold and paint bubbling.handyman said, " this area is damaged from where a pet has urinated on wall. he did some minor work charged us a hundred dollars or so and left.a few months later, we saw more paint bubbling from this area and now more and more mold. we called someone else out and they immediatley found severe water damage coming from a leak behind this particular wall. we contacted our insurance and now we have this large deductible to go toward the underdiagnosed problem. around 4,000.00 dollars.
Response from Mr. Handyman of S.E. Tarrant County
"This is a great example of why you want to use an insured service like us. Although we feel there is more to this story than what is in the customer's post, the short story is that our liability insurance covered their deductible. It all took a bit longer than I would have liked but this was the first (and only) claim we have had against us in the four years we have been in business. (Most of the delay was their insurance company getting the paperwork to our insurance company.)"

He came quickly, did the work professionally, and I would definately use him again. In fact, I felt comfortable enough with him to leave my house for an hour or so while he worked.

Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
Bradley arrived promptly on time. Bradley professionally reviewed and studied the job to determine materials required. He purchased all materials required to complete the job and did not have to leave to get additional materials. He put a first coat of paint on all new wood before taking out what needed to be replaced. Bradley then installed and painted the new wood and surrounding wood so that everything would match the current paint. Thus, the new wood has 2 coats on it. I was impressed with this little and not so obvious detail.

Initial visit to estimate what was needed cost me $140. Carpet layers were there, so he didnt want to get in their way and came back Saturday. Was on time, but VERY SLOW, at $44 a half hour. We had some doors and closet doors that needed fixing, which he did. Only scraped our new paint job once that I saw, carrying the door down the steps to the garage. Took him an hour to determine to fix the sliding door problem, would be to replace it. He got it closed and locked, but couldn't repair it. He did get the other sliding door to lock more easily. After he left, his figure for 5.75 hours at $88/hr was $54 too high & cld office to correct.
