Calling Mr. Handyman to schedule was easy, we learned about this company through Angi. On the day of appointment I was texted 20 minutes prior to our handyman arriving. We had to two gates on two different fences; a wooden gate on a picket fence and a metal gate on a block fence. Once our handyman arrived he assessed what needed to be fixed or replaced for both gates. Colen shared his repair plan, then went to get replacement wood for the wooden gate. He fixed a bent hinge, cut new wooden pieces to replace worn areas and trimmed planks that were catching on the walkway. He was able to fix both gates and explained the wooden posts were loose and would eventually need replacing; he shimmed these for us to hold steady in the ground until we could tackle it at a later date. We're more than satisfied with Colen's work and highly recommend this company for their attentiveness, good communication, affordability, and solid workmanship.

They quoted one price and then when got here said it was hourly. They took too long and work was not satisfactory and they kept charging for their ineptitude and mess ups! Do not hire! Cannot open door from inside unless handle only goes up and the new lock sticks. The outside of the lock is crooked. The seal is not fully sealing after he was told to rehang the door prior to any additional work

Handyman did a good job on replacing the wooden slats and painting the RV gate

I had to have my wrought iron bars put up on two outside windows. Mr. handyman was on time. He worked efficiently and the job was perfectly done. In addition I had to have one other task done which involved re-screening a screen which he did! All in all, It was a great experience for me.

They don't even deserve 1 star. We had a really bad experience working with this company. Save yourself some time and look elsewhere for help around your house. Ben is very nice on the phone explaining that they can fix what I needed done no problem AND their work is guaranteed. Perfect! After sending two guys out, they ended up fixing absolutely nothing. After I asked what I had paid for they told me they would tear up my check since they couldn't help me. Nope, they cashed it immediately. When I asked Ben about it he said they would mail back the money within a few days. Turns out that was also a lie. Very disappointing they are so confident scamming customers. Beware of this company.

I was given an estimate of $200-$250 for a front door replacement. There was confusion about my request as I am not a contractor. When it came time to pay the bill the balance due was over $1200. At no time was I updated on the increasing price over the estimate and I was charged $300 for materials some of which were never used for this project. The company offered $120 back for the erroneous charges for supplies but is not justifying the difference in their estimate or why I was not informed of the ballooning costs. There are a lot of choices out there for Handymen choose someone more transparent.

Called for a door adjustment and the handyman arrived within 1 1/2 hours. Finished the job in 30 minutes.

The contractor should leave a card to communicate and keep his word.
