The office personnel questioned what needed to be done and sent the right person for the job. I had a mixed bag of miscellaneous projects and Bob completed them nicely and in a short amount of time. I was very pleased with the overall company and individuals involved. This is a great service for senior citizens who can't do what they used to and for those persons too busy to find time to do the small things around the house.

Polite and professional. Mr Handymam send the appropriate handyman for the special jobs we needed. Would recommend this company for any home project.

Mike the repair man did a great job. Did not waste time, I showed him the problem and he imediately went to work and corrected the problem... Great job!

The company itself was very courteous on the phone and eager to satisfy the client with advice and the selection of an appointment date. The pricing and other specifics were explained in a concise, clear manner. The technician who was assigned to my job was Kevin. This is a man who knows his craft and is very, very good at it. He approached the situation at my home and was able to work with and around the houses architecture to achieve the desired results. On time, pleasant personality, professional and dedicated to his profession. They installed three bathroom exhaust fans on one visit and then returned to extend the frame on my front door to accommodate a storm door. If there is anything that you need to have done at your home, do not hesitate to call Mr Handyman and request Kevin!

Skilled and professional

The original estimate that I received was for 3-4 hours. I sent in a picture of the issue, though, and they changed the estimate to 5-6 hours (which I appreciate, because I'd rather have an accurate estimate going into the project than be surprised). The project ended up taking 7 hours. Kevin worked the entire time and the quality of work was good. We have one issue with a light switch not working, and the customer service team scheduled someone to come fix it within a week. Overall, I would certainly hire this company again.

The quality of the work was average, but while fixing the toilet the workman got grease on and ruined a rug and towel. He did not even bother to tell me. I found out after he left. He stuffed the rug into a hamper to hide it.

After a few nips and tucks, the work was done to my satisfaction. There had to be return trips to finish the project, which was annoying, yet Kevin was patient customer service made sure to keep on top of the work and answered any questions. The cost was pricey and similar to a previous Handyman experience. They did make some discounts in cost since they had to come back to finish the project. Kevin knew what he was doing and mentioned if it had problems, he would come back to ensure the work was done correctly.

The quality of the work was good and the technician was professional, competent and friendly. Very expensive for the work that was done (no new parts etc. - only adjustments to existing door).

After many attempts to get someone to come to replace two bathroom ceiling exhaust fan/light fixtures, I decided to try Mr. Handyman of North Pittsburgh. I called and was told that someone could come the next day. Ben arrived as promised, looked over the fixtures that we had purchased, and got right to work. He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. He replaced the two fixtures and ran new ductwork through the attic to the roof vent. Although the labor cost was more than the verbal estimates from the other contractors that we had spoken to, Mr. Handyman of North Pittsburgh was the ONLY service that got back to me and actually committed to doing the job. It is difficult to find someone to do small jobs that is certified, licensed, insured, and bonded. These things are important to me in allowing someone to come into my home to do work. I am pleased with the completed job and know that the money was well spent because I know the work was done correctly and to code.

The drywall work that was done at our home was done very professionally and right on schedule. The job was completed within the cost estimate that we were provided. The job had an urgency as it involved a falling plaster ceiling and was a safety issue. We had relatives coming in to town from out of state, so all the work needed to be completed on a tight time schedule. The job was completed on schedule and we were very satisfied with the results. Big kudos to Kevin who was very professional and detail oriented in his work. Mr. Handyman is a contractor that we will certainly call upon again for any home repair projects that come up. I can give the company high praise for the way they treat customers, the professionalism of their staff and quality of work performed.

I had no fault with the work, just thought it was very expensive, labor was twice what I paid for the shower head and grab bars. Since I needed the job done quickly, have not complained.

I wish they lent more time to the project. I had to have them come out twice to finish. Good work though.
