I was not told that there was a $30.00 fee for using my credit card. I read it when I printed out my invoice. I would have used a check. My repair is not finished due to a part that needs to be ordered. I think the repair was a new process for tech but he did figure it out. Waiting to hear if part is ordered. The tech did provide a way to manage problem until repair complete.

The whole issue was a comedy of errors. I got a number of estimates, of which this was neither the lowest nor the highest. The original estimate was given on February 5th and was under $1,000, but the final cost was substantially more. The work was not completed until March 23, and I will not know if the issue is resolved until there is some substantial rain. All the people with whom I came in contact were polite and attentive and kept me informed, although the first person who worked on my project caused some additional damage.
Response by Mr. Handyman of Brighton: As per discussion on the phone call it was an estimate and we did not know the full damage and full repairs required from this conversation. You are correct that we did cause damage to the gutters around this area as the technician slipped off the ladder. As you stated the gutter was replaced by us at our cost. We only charged for the work that was completed. I believe a company that ensures follows up and does what they say they were going to is what customers would want. If they make a mistake they actually follow up and take care of the problems. This is what we did when we did make a mistake. A companies and a persons success is based on what they do when they make a mistake not that they never make mistakes.
