Doors Repair
James did excellent work on our oak french doors that had serious issues with closing from swelling. He was extremely efficient and communicative throughout the whole process. We will definitely be using him again for any other future issues! He is the best of the best to hire! seriously!

Excellent service. Other bids on deck steps repair was for extensive work. Mr. Handyman made repair today in less than one hour and significant savings over previous estimates. Very courteous and professional. Definitely recommend their service.

Our service man Nick was really great and did his best to make sure the drywall was done correctly and that we we satisfied. Really polite and great manners. The only con was a timing is due to communication from office to repairman. Otherwise I, I will definitely use them sgain.

Wood Fence Repair
The technicians that came out were awesome. They worked hard and were very professional. The communication is poor from the company. First, I was told the tech would be there and when he was going to be late I was not informed. When I called (when he was 30 minutes late) I was told he went to the wrong address and he should be here in 10 minutes. An hour later I called and was informed he went to Home Depot and Lowes to get something needed for the job. He arrived 30 minutes later. The job was not complete so he came the next day to complete the job he started the day before and was replaced by someone else while he was on the job. The two overlapped and I was charged for 2.25 hours when I hired Mr. Handyman was there for less than two hours. There was an attempt to charge me for two initial visits on the second day of the same job and for equipment to Tech bought. I tried to call the office that I had spoken to many times and there was not answer. I tried for over an hour and not answer. I got other answering service personnel and was told that someone would call me back but this has yet to happen.

Doors (Exterior) Installation and Replacement
It was difficult to know when someone was going to show up. I was not given a quote or estimate, only told it would be a charge for 3 hours. I was surprised that those 3 hours cost me over $350. It may be a fair price but an early warning would have been nice. I ended up transferring the door handle to the new door. The technician put a dead bolt in for me, so maybe only one hardware installation comes with the price. The new threshold has a vertical rise of at least 1" on one side and as such is very difficult to run a wheelchair through. Pretty sure the technician knew we had a wheelchair user in the household, so a nice service plus would have been to mitigate that somehow. I'll do it.
