Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
All was well until I asked for a written estimate. I had listed several things some of which would have to wait till later as I was running out of money. He wanted the full amount just to do the painting and fixing the garage door. I wanted to wait till later to install celing fans and carbon monoxide detectors, gas line to the oven, check basement water leak and fix celing tape, window opener, install soft water tank. He sort of fixed the garage door and taped part of one room. When I asked for a breakdown of the costs and a written estimate he got angry and refused the job. Did nothing else and charged me $450.

The tech was helpful and prompt. He was able to fix an additional problem that came up while working on the initial request. The only reason for the lower scores for quality/value were because one of the issues was not resolved so I wasn't completely happy. Overall though I would definitely use them again for small household work.
