"The estimate was for what looked like a fairly straight-forward trim replacement around a box bay window. When the old rotted trim was removed it was discovered that the rot penetrated beyond the sill, into the 2x4 framing plate beneath the window. The additional, unforeseen damage was shown and explained to the customer, and he was informed (and he approved) of the additional hour required to properly make the repair."
"Customer called to complain about the time it took to install the shower rods. My technician agreed that, had he had a brand new masonry bit, the job would have gone quicker. I sent the customer a check for $72 within 5 days to compensate for the additional time. The customer then complained about the noisy exhaust fan. My technician and I went out and installed some foam padding between fan mount and rafter. The fan was still loud, we concluded that the fan was defective. Customer was going to obtain a replacement and we were going to install it. We have not been able to coordinate our schedules. For this we are sorry."
