Mr. Handyman of E. Nashville and Hendersonville

I’m in the process of getting my house ready to list. There were some minor repairs that needed to be done (adjusting/repairing a couple of doors, reattaching a toilet paper holder, fixing a sticking glass shower door, and tightening a leaky showerhead) that I was unable to complete myself. I must be very cautious about who I let in my house and am pretty picky when it comes to my home so I was a bit worried that I wouldn’t be able to find someone to do the work to my satisfaction. I chose Mr. Handyman of E Nashville because of all their positive reviews. In my experience those reviews are well deserved. Bryan quickly assessed and completed each task. Even with a required trip to Lowes, the cost of the work fell just over the minimum charge. I feel this was very reasonable. In addition to the excellent workmanship, Bryan was friendly, courteous, and professional. I had a great experience and will definitely use them again for future projects.

I hired to remove my ceiling texture and paint in my living room and upstairs hallway. The upstairs hallway is technically not finished and there were a lot of damages done to my home. One man showed up to do the work. he did not really tarp off anything. He made a huge mess in the process covering my porch, new front doors, kitchen, and all my carpeting in dust. They had to sub out my project to another company. Mr Handyman paid a cleaner to come and clean my carpets. The company they used did not get the dust out of my carpet because a few days later I vacuumed and pulled out ~2 lbs of white dust from my carpets. They also tried to clean my front doors with cleaner that was too strong and stripped the finish on my doors. They paid a second company to come a remediate the floor work. They also restained my deck since we could not get the white cast off it. They terminated our relationship telling me to keep final payment. I was quoted over 9k, I paid ~4.5k and still have damages.

Project to mount grab bars and towel bars was completed very professionally and quickly. Service personnel were respectful of our home and cleaned up following completion of their work. Very satisfied with the quality of work.

Door installation was great. Painting was good, but owner came and fixed it and it looks great…would definitely hire again!

Asked these guys to do a simple gas hookup for a stovetop. Estimated $2500. The job costs $250 through a licensed plumber. Would never call them again.

The work was done quickly and correctly. What I really liked is that the guy took the extra step to clear my downspouts and make sure they were operating properly.

My only negative consideration is the hourly fee. That has kept me from hiring them on other occasions.

Quickly finished the installation of my fans. Totally respectful of my home- couldn't tell they had been there.
