I hired Jim to repair sheet rock, they did the repair and needed to paint, I was told it would take 4-5 hours and I was charged 8 hours,I received a bill for the work, I got a call from Jim that he forgot to charge me for the paint, I was told one price and after the work was done I was told another, I called the company to complain and I was told I was also charged tax on the labor,

The handyman did a great job

They helped me at a time when I was in a pinch for time and money. This company understands and will work with you. This professionals will get them more work at my properties.

Chuck from HandyMan was great. Right on time, professional and got the job done in a fair amount of time and it looked great. Would definitely re-hire HandyMan again for the next project!

This was the first time I hired anyone to do a job bigger than changing a bathroom faucet or applying caulking around a tub, so I wasn't sure if I had the knowledge to select the right company. My upstairs neighbor's pipe leaked onto my bathroom ceiling so I needed someone to replace or repair the drywall and repaint my very small condo bathroom. Compared to other companies I was looking into, Mr. Handyman seemed much more organized, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. The person giving the estimate seemed to know what he was talking about much more than anyone else who stopped by for an estimate. The tech who did the work not only seemed very skilled, but was also considerate and personable. I was comfortable having him in my home for two days it was like having a very handy friend doing the job for me. The initial paint color he selected wasn't exactly right, and he had no complaints going back and getting the correct color, which turned out exactly how I wanted it (a nice, bright, clean white). I'm sure I paid for it, which was okay with me :) But someone else might not have been so willing to spend the time to go back. The final product looks fantastic as far as I can see. No job is perfect, but being a perfectionist I expected sloppiness around edges, or paint spilled in obvious places (which was how the bathroom looked in some places from when the former owner lived there). But aside from one drop of paint on the already white radiator that I was able to scrape off with a fingernail, it looks perfect enough to me! The reality is that a homeowner will always need to clean up somewhat after someone does work in their home. But this tech cleaned up so well after himself, I have much less cleaning to do than I expected. Now, the items that made me not give them 5 stars across the board: There was some confusion about the estimate. To this day, I'm not 100% sure if the estimate was for replacing the entire ceiling drywall and everything that goes along with that and repainting the bathroom, or if it included that plus possible repair along the tops of 3 walls where the leaked water left stains. The office manager was helpful trying to get that information for me, but I wasn't able to get a concrete answer. I was very happy that the final cost (including for the tech to go back and get another can of paint) was only about $3 over the initial estimate. But what concerns me is that what was actually done (patching a hole left by the plumber and fixing the stains, and repainting the bathroom) seems far less than what I thought the estimate was for (which I thought included replacing the entire ceiling drywall). The amount of time it actually took matched the estimate, but the amount of the material used seemed to be different. So I don't know if the estimate (both the amount of time and cost) was inaccurate IF it was for replacing the entire ceiling drywall. Great service but unfortunately they didn’t get it right the first time. But did offer to fix it unfortunately it wasn’t bit later the next week. They will eventually get it done right. If the work would have been done correctly the 1st time I would have given 5 stars.

Courteous, professional and knowledgeable

Ray was very professional and punctual. He found a way of solving our basement issue and executed it in 1 day. Highly recommend.

Showed up on time, had all the parts and materials they were suppose to provide, professional, cleaned the area after they were done with the install. Was nervous to use them but after reading their reviews, couldn’t pass up on them. I had an attic ladder installed, the other contractor quoted me over $1100 but me. Handyman was so much cheaper hands down! Measured twice and cut once!

Do not hire this company! Very unprofessional and are just in the business to make the money and run! Very pricey! Sloppy and not experienced at all! Total regret, they caused damages and did nothing to fix it. Wish there were negative stars to rate this company.

Company communication were spot on. Chuck came out and gave me all the details and options I needed. It’s a bit pricey but worth the effort. I will use them again!

Very professional and did good work. The only downside is that it’s by the hour not the job, so you have to call for follow up appts for what is not finished and it can become very pricy.

They responded quickly to my request. I was able to schedule a estimate date relatively quickly. The Handyman that came to do the estimate ended up not being the person to do the job. I wasn't notified until the day of the job that it would be someone else. That caused a minor delay/issue as the original Handymans estimate was off. The second Handyman had to go return the original items purchased for the job and purchase the correct items. The job was quoted as a 4 hour job that took 2 days to complete. However a second job was also added to the replacing screen door. The second Handyman was very knowledgeable, polite and worked cleanly. I would be hesitant to hire them for another job because of the miscommunication of the initial job. The job got done, but it was more expensive then originally quoted and took longer then was quoted.
