Mr. Mudd Drywall & Construction

We encountered a storm on july 24th and our roof started leaking. We reached out to Angies and Elijah from Mr.Mudd Construction came out the same day to look at everything and give us a estimate same day. We signed the contracts same day and they fixed the roof. The sealed the entire perimeter of our roof. Fixed 3 patches that were water damaged in the home and matched the texture perfectly. We had a unique uncommon texture that they still matched perfectly. Me and my wife are very happy with the work they have done. We would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done. They also installed a brand new HVAC Unit because the old one was leaking. The total was $31,54306 after everything and we are very happy with the work. Highly recommend them. Elijah is very educated and knowledgeable.

The recent rain showers caused our 50 year old house to develop a leaking roof and saturated ceilings to give way. What a shock to us. We had no connection to any contractors. Therefore we contacted Angi. We were connected to Mr. Mudd Drywall and Construction. What a fabulous find!! They came to the house, examined the damage, and explained what they would do. They were very specific about what needed to happen, how they would accomplish the repairs, and gave us the prices for each procedure. They have a very qualified crew which carried out their instructions! They set a timeline and it was followed perfectly. The job was done on time and to perfection. There was no evidence of any damage to the home! If we ever have need for this kind of work again—there is no question of what company we would hire. They were extremely professional in all they did. The following pictures are both before and after. The total cost of the work was $14,830.00 for all labor and supplies.

The customer hired a contractor who claimed to be fully licensed, bonded, and insured (under a GB8 license). However, immediately after work began, the customer noticed red flags regarding his technique specifically, skipping basic wall prep and cleaning before repainting a garage. The customer now strongly doubts the worker's professional qualifications and independent contractor status.

Highly Recommend Mr. Mudd I had a water leak that caused significant damage to my home, and I’m very happy with the work Mr. Mudd provided. Before contacting them, multiple companies came out but couldn’t find the source. Elijah quickly assessed the situation, located the leak, and stopped it in about 10 minutes, which immediately gave me confidence. The full restoration totaled $21,775.17, and after insurance, everything was covered except my $2,000 deductible. Elijah personally completed about 90% of the work, and his workmanship was excellent. He was knowledgeable, skilled, and professional throughout the entire process. The before-and-after results clearly show the quality of the restoration. What stood out most was his follow-through with insurance. When part of the claim was delayed, Elijah continued communicating with the adjusters for about another month until everything was resolved. Overall, Mr. Mudd went above and beyond from start to finish. I highly recommend them!

We hired Mr Mudd to repair drywall and install an access panel after a plumbing modification. Elijah responded quickly to our request for a quote and gave us a free estimate that very day. Elijah is friendly, professional, and efficient, and he is very skilled. He did an excellent job (see photos). We appreciate his expertise and that he kept the workspace tidy. We will definitely call Mr Mudd for any future work, and we will refer them to our friends. Highly recommended!

Elijah did a great job in repairing water damage to part of the ceiling in my guest room. He removed the damaged area, thoroughly treated everything to kill the mold, installed new drywall, painted it and applied matching texture. The final step was painting the areas of the wall that has slight damage. Once the paint dries, it should look as good as new.

They did a great job and cleaned up very well at the end. I would recommend them. This is the second time I’ve worked with them. I was very happy with the jobs both times.

Mr. Mudd did an amazing job on our project. We needed our entire living room drywalled, mudded, and painted, and Brad came out the same day to give us a free estimate. His pricing was very competitive compared to other companies we looked into, and it was reassuring that he is fully licensed, unlike some others in Albuquerque. He was professional, respectful, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. The job was completed in about 5 days, and the quality of the work came out great. They also did a thorough cleanup afterward, the floors were spotless and everything looked and smelled clean. I would definitely recommend Mr. Mudd and would hire them again for future projects.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I am a young female first time homeowner and I used this company to replace the old single pane windows on my home. They ?misquoted? me and had me send an additional 700.00 for a custom order window he originally ?mismeasured? (this was back in February). I still do not have the final two windows done on my home and despite multiple attempts to contact/remedy the situation, I have been ghosted. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you want to be completely taken advantage of and have incomplete work done as well as mismatched windows in your home. Also, they claimed they can not match my stucco color AFTER THE FACT. So now I also have uncolored stucco around all of my windows. I have never had a worse experience with a contractor. Work is halfway done, done poorly, and there has been zero communication. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. If they see this review and decide to finish the job I paid them to do, then that?s great.

Grant, Isiah, David, Julian, Lorenzo Worked very well together they knew their job assignments from set up to packing up and cleaning up work site. The job took longer than first thought, but everything went well. All the crew was polite and curtsies. They did a great job would recommend them to anyone with concrete problems.

Brad and Scott are great guys, honest and super hard workers. They came in, quickly assessed what we needed, made recommendations and got us a quote right away. They fit us into their crazy schedule and got our entire house painted in advance of the holiday! Incredible service, these guys were focused on our happiness the entire time. Professional and knowledgeable, they were reasonably priced and did a beautiful job. Highly recommend!

Superb quality and done right away.

It's hard to find contractors that 1) Show up 2) Do competent work and 3) Don't rip you off. Brad with Mr Mudd showed up promptly gave a fair quote asked for the business and did what he said he would do. They know what they are doing. Fantastic job. I'd recommend them without hesitation.

Very prompt. Came out to see project. I had an estimate later that same day. Showed up true to their word. Job was done well. I got follow up as it went along and at the end. They wanted to work, which is very rare. I highly recommend them and will use again most definitely.

Fantastic company - great communication - very professional - friendly! Replaced part of the drywall on the ceiling from a roof leak. It looks like a brand new ceiling!

Re-stucco entire 2 story house and repaired 2nd floor deck drainage system which required removing Trex planks and reinstalling after repair. Price was extremely competitive and there were no surprise addition costs. Finished the job within a week and a half. Mike H. inspected the work on a daily basis and his crew is professional and ready to accommodate when I had questions or requests. The entire area was cleaned up after the job and there was visual inspection of the finished work to ensure I was happy with the results.
