Mr. Rooter make sures that problem gets taken care of so it will not re occure again. Mr. Rooter is clean and we will clean up after all works are done. .

This is combining the water heater replacement service (I went through HomeAdvisor first for this) and a subsequent emergency leak diagnosis. The water heater replacement service was very good. Some miscommunication about arrival time. On Friday I asked when I could schedule it and how long it would take, and they said from 8 to 10 a.m. on Monday. I was up at 8 a.m. and got worried at 8:30 with no one arriving. I called the company and they said 8-10 a.m. was only the estimated arrival time and the job would take 4-5 hours.... Ok. In reality, the plumber Robert (or Bobby) arrived closer to 11 a.m. To his credit (if I'm to believe him, which I do), he said he was woken up at 7:30 a.m. about my service since he thought he would start work at 10 a.m. Thankfully the job took no more than 3 hours, and he was very nice and considerate about not damaging my house. A few weeks later, I called Mr. Rooter for an emergency leak. They were the only company out of a few who said they could come the same day. Someone arrived, made a diagnosis, offered the price to fix it, and we agreed to make a deposit. We scheduled a followup repair a few days later, estimated arrival 8-10 a.m. again. Someone arrived at 8:30 but ended up doing another diagnosis... He came up with the same conclusion but then realized he was supposed to actually fix the problem since the company gave that info from the previous plumber rather late. We were both frustrated. He told his employer about it, said they'd follow up with me, and left. The company tried to reschedule the fix for the following day, which frustrated me more since I took the day off for this day. They scrambled to get another plumber to come the same day. He (Matt) came, though from quite a distance. No one's fault but it was kinda unfair to him. He looked at the previous plumbers' diagnoses, actually cut out some drywall to make a better diagnosis, and realized the previous plumbers were wrong. He saved us about $400 I think. He also took the time to do a few small fixes around my house after that. So, the actual plumbers are very nice, courteous, smart, and helpful. The company itself seems to have some miscommunication problems between them and the plumbers. Their prices are fair. They seem to have a good amount of plumbers to be more highly available than other small companies. I'd hire them again but wouldn't be surprised of some more miscommunication.

Very expensive!
Response by Mr. Rooter of Maryland: Paying $260.00 for complete faucet repair and driving 2 1/2 hours away I don't think is unreasonable. I am sorry you feel that way and we gave you the price and you agreed and at the time you felt it was fair.
