The company is fake

Hired Sebright construction for a leak I have in basement wall, I thought it was repaired, but it still leaks, tried contacting company all phone voicemail boxes are full, tried messenger, one message back he was going to send someone out gave me a time and never showed up... very disappointed and definitely would not recommend his services to anyone..

Major scammer. Grossly overcharging. Requiring advance for material estimating its cost 10X higher than actual cost. No show or arriving hours late. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

After reading all of the previous reviews of Sebright Construction, I am kicking myself for hiring this unprofessional company to do work for us. Joe Sebright was very unresponsive throughout the entire project. Finally when the project was completed, he left the site and did not clean up afterwards. Joe left three lugger bags of discarded concrete on our driveway for weeks. We continued to call Joe to have everything removed but he continued to ignore our numerous calls. After a few weeks of this, we were informed from our association we reside in that we would be fined if the lugger bags of concrete were not removed. Again, we reached out to Joe to now find out that he was accusing us of â theftâ after weeks of ignoring our calls. Needless to say, this was an odd accusation after weeks of not returning our calls and leaving three luger bags of garbage behind. We have gone ahead and ordered on our own the lugger bags to be removed at our expense. We will be filing a formal complaint to HomeAdvisor along with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and one other government agency for good measure. In 20 years of a running a family business, I have to say that this is a top five situation of a supplier breaking every code of conduct you can imagine. Not only am I not recommending Sebrights Construction (Joe Sebright), I will be encouraging HomeAdvisor to drop this business as it will be a stain on HomeAdvisor. We have used HomeAdvisor for years and have worked with incredible vendors do a variety of great work at many different sites. This is the first time HomeAdvisor has brought a contractor in that did not do a good job with the vetting process. Knowing how well HomeAdvisor operates, I am sure they will look into this unprofessional matter including his collections process.

Hiring Sebright Construction was a colossal mistake. Would not hire these clowns to take out my garbage on a good day. Sloppy work and is actually worse off now than when they started. Tried to call their office and the owner Joe direct and either the phone system is saying it is not working and Joe has not returned my phone messages or text messages. All in all a very bad experience. Anyone thinking of hiring these guys just beware and save yourself the trouble. I learned the hard way thinking I would give a small business a chance. Oh well ! And so it goes!

Joe was very responsive and got back to me right after I called. Other companies told me it would take a week to even get someone out for an estimate, but Joe came out the same day. He and his crew showed up on time the next morning to start work. They were polite and professional and completed the job on time with no surprises. The crew even went out of their way to be helpful. I would definitely call Sebrights again if I needed help.

The owner was very quick to get someone out for the estiment and repair. It was a time where it had rained 8 ins.in the area. They were very busy but kept their promise to be out the next day. They fixed my foundation within 48 hours. The repair was successful. I highly recommend this company. Very experienced. The owners father was in the same business for decades.

I cant knock Joe For being a polite and nice guy that he has going for him, but for the amount I paid I expected higher level of workmanship. My yard is trashed! I hired them for a sump drain line replacement, all 243 of it. The day before the work I warned them my yard was saturated and asked if they wanted to continue, and was told yes. I left the pros to it, big mistake. They came in with a mini bacho, and tore the heck out my yard, I would have thought if working in a wet yard with a tracked machine matting is a no brainer? The back fill job saved none of my sod I now have 200+ ft of mud, was told nature will take it course it will sink and grow back! Not so sure mud tracks all over, there is a spot where the pipe is at the top ground level so I don t believe it s graded correctly, I would be surprised if this last 5 years. In time of need I made a mistake. Joe offered to take some railway sleepers from my yard, but has not returned texts so I gave up and this has now cost me an additional sum to dispose of. All in all DONT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. You will be disappointed.

Poor quality of work and misrepresented his work. Project is a complete failure and resulted in damage to property.

Great work, nice people. Efficient knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Their quote was reasonable and they produced store receipts For any overages.They left the job site clean and neat and checked the operation of our sump pump backup system
