R. Mullen not only gave me a very reasonable estimate, but actually took me to see recent jobs in my area and walked me thru the entire process. His crew started and finished my driveway exactly on time. The crew was very polite and professional and they did exactly what they said they would do. Result: I now have a beautiful asphalt driveway with adjoining walkways. Added plus: they applied a "patch" compound that lightened the surface, greatly reducing the heat given off and made the surface resemble concrete. Especially important, they sloped and angled the driveway to provide the proper rain runoff that perfectly drains the water away from my house/garage. They made sure everything was exactly as I wanted it and I couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend this company and Richard's crew.

mr mullens responded quickly with a reasonable estimate. mr mullens and his crew, did a professional job, but i was most impressed by the extra effort they did to ensure the driveway was exactly as we needed it... we have a water issue with a wet basement and mr mullens was inventive and provided a workable solution. .....WE ARE HAPPY... i definitely recommend Ed Mullens Paving. They promised more than they could complete. My driveway looks good from the distance, however when you drive down it is a bit bumpy. When the sun hits the drive on the right angle you can see several high/low spots up/down the drive. The seams between the stopping/starting points when they needed to refill the small tub used to spread the asphalt my be the problem areas. While they were completing the drive, they had received a request to do some work on a house down the street from my house. At that point it felt that they started to rush on my project. Other than the above they are friendly and did clean up after the work was completed.

They were pleasant and prompt . However , when it rained there is a big puddle of standing water in the paved area as well as beyond .

Ed Mullen and his family team did an outstanding job. From responding quickly by phone to onsite preparation of the job quote; he was thoroughly conscientious, customer focused, and did an outstanding job of repaving our 50 year old, well worn 75 yard long drive. I rate Ed and the team 5 stars for outstanding integrity, commitment, and job quality.

Bigger talk than action. They came inadequately prepared to do the job, shortcut several parts of it, and left a very patchwork-looking result. Very disappointing, because Ed Mullen and some of his workers were courteous. But he simply seems to have promised more than he could deliver.

Family owned business. They were very prompt in responding to my inquiry. Provided an immediate written quote and were able to start the job the very next day. Completed the work quickly and did a nice job of cleanup. I would hire them again.
