Showed up 20 minutes late for the assigned job. One of the workers immediately asked to use my restroom upon arrival and was in there for 6 minutes as he announced when I asked the other employees if he was ok. They needed to use a 20-foot ladder to reach a very difficult ceiling fan install and I was terrified the whole time that the same young man would put a hole in my wall as they maneuvered it. The main electrician seemed to be knowledgeable, but spent a lot of time on the phone with Keith for help (that is fine if he is learning). I was greatly appreciative when Keith showed up, as other reviews said he is calm and knows his trade well, and took charge of the situation. They were here about 4 hours for the fan install. Not an easy job I know, it was challenging, and it turned out just fine. But the lack of professionalism was disappointing. I should not have to worry when I contract work. Especially when the price is more or less what other companies had quoted us (667 dollars for a ceiling fan install in a pre-wired 20-foot ceiling). We went with this company because of these review ratings. I would never use them again given this experience. It is not only the skill of your trade that keeps business coming back, it is the professionalism and business relationship that sustains it. Definitely need work on that! Only time will tell how well the fan wiring/install lasts. Keeping our fingers crossed!

Murray & Sons had a Lead Electrician “Keith Reed” that was absolutely amazing, he installed 6 extremely difficult ceiling fans and numerous wall outlets by himself with no helper. This guy was super polite extremely patient and went well above and beyond our expectations to deliver and complete our project with absolute professional experience.

Fredrick P. Murray replaced an old-timey rusty leaking outdoor fuse box with a new 12 circuit outdoor panel and 20 AMP GFCI service outlet in three hours for only $425. He was prompt, knowledgeable, very courteous and friendly - a good person to converse with while working. He learned the circumstances of my power outage and immediately and accurately diagnosed the problem and indicated to me where the fault was in the system. I will hire him again.

Great Local Company to say the least. I had them install and outlet in my pantry where the previous homeowner had a water softener installed. They never had and outlet put in and used an extension cord, I didn't like that hazard. Murray & Sons Electrical was very prompt on answering from home advisor, provided a free estimate which is always nice. Very welling to work with my schedule and had it installed rather quickly. Very professional and respectful, Cleaned up all of the project mess. You wont go wrong with using this company!
