After receiving a $7,000 Bid from a LARGE Competitor, who claimed they had the best value, I contacted Service Magic and put out an RFP (Request For Proposal). I�m a Director of Purchasing, so this is all customary for me. I did this during the 100-degree heat wave last Sept. In defiance of the $7K bid, I quickly reviewed Seven (!)Contractors over 1-1/2 days. I selected MUSE who provided Fair value for the Job, with a reasonable fix to the Builders 11-year old issue. The NEXT DAY (Friday before Labor Day weekend!) they installed (Only what I needed) a new Furnace and Coil saving me over $2500! They�re good, fair and honest. Hire 'em!

I like to know exactly what I am getting before I get it and what options I have. Although I am very happy with the results and would use Muse again, being out of the area was stressful. I trust Muse to do what they say and they spent a lot of time with me, but I would have been happier not have to research Trane's website to know what exactly I was getting. Trane offers many, many and then some more furnace, filters, heat pumps, condensors and coils at different prices. Typically all quotes are for the cheapest models. Fortunately, MUSE blew them all away and. A follow up courtesy call would be nice. I hope they do it. So far so good.

They called 10 minutes after requesting the service and came out within 30 minutes of the request. Tech was amazing, very helpful and professional. All of this was during weekend repair call

They replaced a transformer on my HVAC unit. Granted, it was at 10pm. It cost me 300+ dollars. I would not use these guys again. Service charges are off the chart and there is no way that simple transformer unit costs 200 dollars. I'll never use them again.

"We were originally called because he bought a new thermostat for his apartment,Yes he was a renter. He could not wire it correctly and was a little worried. So when we came out we had to wire the thermostat the correct way and then replace the transformer(because he fried it!) so it would all work right! We were trying to help the customer out of a jam at 10:00 pm on a Saturday!"

While checking the requirements for project the person found a problem that existed with my water heater that had been overlooked up to this point by everyone else who had seen it. He offered to fix it assuming that it could be repaired by replacing a valve. As it turned out it was fixable and that saved me about a thousand dollars for an emergency replacement of a water heater. Based on having let me know about the problem and fixing it without even having been called for that reason. I decided to give this project of replacing my heating system to this company. They performed the job in a timely fashion and to my satisfaction.

They responded promptly to my online request, came as requested to give an estimate, and followed up with a phone call after the estimate. It was the owner himself, Jeff Muse, that I dealt directly with, and he not only put forth the lowest bid, but included a new one-year filter and the ductwork to utilize it. I did have to specify that I wanted the installation inspected. The work was completed in one day, by two very competent workers who did good work and also cleaned up thoroughly. The inspector wanted something adjusted, and the workers were out there quickly to make the modification & provide the paperwork needed.

I am very happy with the over-all service I recieved from Muse H&A. They installed a H&A system, with a new thermostat. The contractor explained everything that he was going to do, and put it in writing. The price was a litter high, but the service was great.

Way over priced.Whatever your problem is look out.They have a "book" with all the prices,this so called book is all thier prices with "labor" and inflated prices added to the actual part you need to get your air conditioner fixed.Talk a good talk-great "sale men",but you will be charged 50% more minimin--shop around.The owner even told me that his "overhead" with his company is substantial so he has to charge more due to this.Word of mouth on the next service for me-already have several names that I will use. I would Not recommend Muse.

Thought I had a gas leak, but found out I didn't, but then the rep tried to sell me a part I didn't need, cost $152, because he spent 30 minutes trying to light the pilot light and coudn't figure out how to do it. He finally did figure that out, but then the owner tried to convince me to have a test done on my system, that the gas company had done just the week before, cost $160, then they both tried to get me to agree to a complete clean up on my system, cost $215. Then the rep started doing a hard sell on a whole new sysytem. I refused, so the rep left me with no heat. He turned out the pilot light to my furnace, so I have no heat.

"Customer said gas co. said she had a leak. Gas leaks are SERIOUS business. Our tech did his best to locate any leak by checking everything carefully. This can't be done in 5 minutes. She also had a potential cracked heat chamber, suspected because of the way the flames were acting. Because the unit was so dirty and rusty, she wouldn't authorize a cleaning, there was no way to know for sure. A cracked heat chamber can mean death, as it allows carbon monoxide to enter the home. We are responsible when we go, we have to take every precaution to protect customers. They don't always know enough to protect themselves.Most want cheap, not safe."

Jeff was very knowledgeable and the rates were reasonable. I'll be considering them when I upgrade my system.
