I was charged 115 dollars to splice a wire my yard service company evidently cut to my low voltage lighting. One of my lights still does not work. Ive asked twice now to have this fixed and the electrician is a no show, and doesnt contact me to let me know. Ive been ripped off and Im very disappointed.

He found the cause of the problem which was cut wires, done by a cable technician but he failed to come back to check why 3 of the garden lights don't work even if i replaced new bulds per his advice. He has not really finished his job and I already paid him as what he charged. I kept on calling but he never came back and later don't answer anymore.

The Pro, Alan, replaced two old ceiling fans both over fifteen years, with two new ones. One of the things that I was most impressed with was his flexibility in getting the job done. I really loved my old ceiling fans, one was unique and beautiful; since it could not be replaired, Alan allowed me to go buy new ones, while he took a lunch break. This kept me from having to reschedule and go more days without the coolness of have ceiling fans. He has a great temperment and works nonstop until the job is done to your satisfaction. I already have more electrical projects in mind for Alan. I will recommend him to others without hesistation. Thanks, Barbara D.

The electrician arrived 30 min late to give me a quote for the electrical installation of a tank-less water heater, I gave him the manufacture's instruction on the proper installation, he did his measurement for the needed material and gave me a bid to which I agreed to and said he could do it the next day, we agreed to a time and he arrived the next day late again, he began to work and stopped stating he did have enough material and hadn't looked at the instruction correctly, he left for over an hour and returned with add'l material, after he completed the work, he increased the cost by 28%, left wires dangling unsecured not braced to the structure, he also left debris and stated he did not have a receipt to give me for the work, he would e-mail me, I haven't gotten a receipt yet, very unprofessional, perhaps he thinks he was doing me a favor

Alan is excellent! He is very polite, punctual, and professional. I would definitely hire him again. He is my go to electrical contractor.

Alan moved light switches from one side of a wall to the other side for me in two bathrooms. Now at the time, I also had another vendor at the house and I was a little distracted and should have paid better attention to what Alan was doing. At first I thought what he did was great, he even cleaned up after himself, helped himself to find the broom in my house and swept up all the dust and debris from opening the sheet rock. Sounds pretty good right? Well, closer inspection, Alan cut out more sheetrock than the the light switch cover, covers. Also, both light switches were place further into the wall than closer to the door frame so it's a little awkward. BUT I would have still given 3 or 4 stars HOWEVER, the secondary bathroom switch started acting funky, when I would flip it on it would flicker and turn off the light even though the switch was in the on position or I have to flip it up and push it up hard for it to stay on. I emailed Mustang Electric as soon as I noticed the problem back in December and Alan never bothered to get back to me which bothers me since I feel he should take responsibility for his work and want to come correct the issue. The last line of my email asked him to please confirm that he is licensed, bonded and or insured since now I have to be concerned about an electrical issue because of the work Alan did (the license numbers listed here on home advisor are for a ME Robert M. Thomas with Mustang Electric but nothing came up for any type of license in Alan's name). Honestly, if Alan had just responded to my email and came back to correct the bad job he did I would have still given him at least 4 stars AND the rest of the electrical work I need to get done but now I will have to find ANOTHER electrician to come correct Alan's work AND pay a handy man to come patch the 2 new holes I will have when the new electrician moves the switches into the correct spot. Everyone seems to have nothing but good things to say about Alan and his work which is why I selected him but clearly that was a mistake I will now have to pay triple for.

Professional and efficient

Alan was on time and did a quick assessment of my problem. He got the parts and installed them right away so the job was completed within 30 minutes. Very good interaction.
