I have had a contract with My Computer Works for almost a year and have called them for remote help at least 20 times. The techs are professional and highly efficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of problems, both simple and complex. Bless them!

I hired Dominic to come out and attempt to fix my hard drive, he downloaded some programs, I paid them, and he left, the next 3 days my computer was saying the download will take more time, I called called My Computer Works to sent another tech back to see what the problem was and they never got back to me, so I had to take my computer to another company and they were able to fix it for an additional $500

I hate filling these out! The computer repair person that was sent did a fine job. BUT he could not fix the problem -- not his fault, I know, but it means I ended up paying a lot of money only to learn that I need to buy a new piece of equipment that will cost less than the money I spend finding out it needed to be replaced. I will think twice about hiring someone to come to my house for this type of diagnosis. AGAIN -- the tech that came here was professional and competent. This is my own fault.

This company is a remote tech company. They take control of your laptop and attempt to do repairs remotely. I ended up having to take my computer to a reputable local repair service to get all the bugs out of it that My Computer Works caused. They refused to refund all that they had charged me for doing absolutely nothing to help me. They also refused to reply to my emails or phone calls.

One of the issues that they were called out for started occurring again a couple days later. I got an email from them asking how the service was and I explained to them that I was still having issues and wanted them to send someone back out. That was 3 days ago and I still have not heard back from them.

As soon as the tech knew how old our printer wa (5 years), he told us to buy a new one. $127 for something they could have told us over the phone.

Th person I spoke to really adjusted their information based on my knowledge level. I felt like no time was wasted doing routine things. Although the problem was fixed before officially hiring them, their discussion and advice that was free, was excellent and fixed my issue.

I'm not sure of the "value for money" but I do know the cost was less than the repair work done locally several years ago. Chris, who set up the consultation was very friendly. The tech, Sawyer was very patient with a technically challenged elder. While it turns out my computer (also elderly) can't be fixed, he recommended a type and price range for the purchase of a new computer. Once chosen, I can call back to go over the features before purchasing.

My computer works is now my go to tech dept. for my small business. The owner called within a very short time of my Home Advisor request. My questions were answered accurately and without hesitation. Don't be afraid because they are in AZ. They log in remotely and one can watch every key stroke. Very impressed.

They were able to retrieve all of my photos and that was my biggest concern. I signed up for a monthly maintenance plan for all electronic devices in my house which puts my mind at ease. It covers all computers, pads, and smart phones.
