I ordered a gorilla garage floor for a new build. It is advertised as a one-day installation and able to use in 24 hours. They were scheduled to install on a Friday. After working for 3 hours they were done for the day planning on doing it over 2 days which was never relayed to us. We realized that the wrong color was put down. I contacted the supervisor, Corey, and he offered a $300 dollar discount (on a $6000 dollar floor) or 2 weeks to get the right color. For $300 dollars we wanted the right color. He then told me that we could not put anything on the garage floor for 2 weeks. I tried to explain to Corey that I had a freezer and treadmill sitting outside and it was supposed to rain in 2 days and that his solution was unacceptable. I told him I needed a better discount or another solution to make this right. He offered a trailer to put my stuff in, which I accepted. Low and behold he could get the color overnighted I guess too cheap to pay for a trailer) and my floor would be done Saturday, so no trailer would be needed. The workers came out Saturday with the right color and said the job would be done that day. They worked for 30 minutes and left without saying anything. We made multiple phone calls that went unanswered. It rained Sunday night so I moved my stuff back inside. Corey called Monday morning telling me the workers needed to be let in. I told him no one was home and it was raining and I had nowhere to put my stuff. I told him his workers ghosted Saturday and we had no idea when they were coming back. Instead of apologizing, he tried to tell me they talked to my wife, which was not true. I said you told me the job would be done Saturday, he offered no apology. They came out Tuesday and finished the work. We were told our stuff had to stay out for 2 days, not ONE. Our stuff sat in the snow for over 24hours. We were charged the balance as soon as they left. They have not attempted to contact me at all since the job was done. No discount no apology. Terrible customer service and installation is not one day and able to use in 24 hours. I had planned on doing my basement with them, which is three times the size of my garage. Because they were too cheap to give a real discount and unwilling to have zero customer service skills, I will not use their services nor recommend them to friends. I just pray I never need any warranty work done as I have zero confidence that they will honor their contract.

If all of My Gorilla Garages are run the way the Sarasota, Florida offices are run BUYER BEWARE! You would think the main office in Ohio would be monitoring their offices throughout the country, no matter where it is. Apparently they do not care. Again.....BUYER BEWARE!

The absolute worst customer service I have ever received. Overpromised and never delivered. We have a lobby, single restroom, and office area that currently have tile flooring. The salesman looked at the job, took pictures, called his sales manager and production manager to make sure the project was something they could do. I offered to have the tile removed before epoxy floor install, but was assured that My Gorilla Garage installers were the experts, and they wanted to remove it. If there was damage, then they could fix the problems and make sure their product would install correctly. I signed a contract and paid a large deposit. The day of install, they showed up and said how am I supposed to remove that? After about an hour and a half going back and forth with the production manager, the installation crew left and I still have my original tile floors. The manager offered for them to apply the epoxy over my tiles, to which his installer advised me not to do The installer said it would peel back up. Thankfully he gave me this advice. I cannot even imagine what kind of warranty hoops I would have to jump through to get any warranty service done! On top of it all, I have yet to see any refund of my deposit. I have called many times and been told twice that my refund was on the way and the owner approved it. Has not happened yet and today their office phones ring busy!Good luck to anyone who uses this company. I can only hope you never have to come back to them for warranty work. They are unreliable.

These people installed 3 areas in my home in May 2017. By September 2018 the entryway was peeling, popping, chalking, and delaminating. I contacted them, and was told it would be replaced under warranty. Multiple dates scheduled and cancelled by the company. Every excuse under the sun. 13 months later, work has never been done. Buyer beware, stay away! once they have your money, they are gone! The absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. Dan M., you and your company SUCK! This place has no conscience, no remorse, and no care for customers, just the $$$

They take advantage of the elderly. Had two patios done costing thousands of dollars over two years ago and both cracked within months. Contacted My Gorilla Garage numerous times over course of a year and the company wouldn t honor the product guarantee. My daughter started calling in Feb 2019 to get matter resolved. Four appointments were made and cancelled. She made 36 documented and recorded calls trying to get this resolved. Each time the appointment was cancelled or the calls unreturned. They will not put my repair above new installs. Very poor service. Sub par product and an obvious attempt to take advantage of an 88 year old customer It s a disgrace. Don t expect any customer service after the product fails

The floor was installed two years ago and looked great. A few spots started chipping. We contacted Gorilla Garage in October 2018 to schedule repairs. We were told and it was in the contract that the floor had a lifetime warranty. We have reached out to them through emails and phone calls over the past year to get the repairs scheduled. We finally got a repair date of October 5,2019 ( one year after initial service request), they did not show up as scheduled. I have now left two messages and have have not heard back from them. Throughout this process, both my husband and myself have left many messages and sent emails, not only do they not return phone calls or respond to emails, if the receptionist does happen to answer, she forwards the call to someone who doesnâ t answer and then or answer the message left.

I had no problems with Gorilla Garage on the quote, installation, or quality of work. However, the $100 gift for referrals is a SCAM. I've spoken to them 3 times about receiving this for a referral and install at a relative's home. Each time they agreed and said it's going in the mail THIS WEEK. This started months ago, and I won't call again. Very DISHONEST.

This has been the worse company I have ever worked with. They do not honor their word, or product, or commitments. I had a $3500 floor installed just over two years ago. My floor started cracking and coming up. I called last fall and was told they installed it improperly. They promised they would fix the floor and take care of me. 6 months later I cant even get a call back. I have dealt with a Joe and a Brittany and neither one of them return calls or honor what they say they will do. The company has been totally disappointing and I would not recommend to anyone! I am a realtor in Columbus and deal with many people and there would be no way I could tell someone to call Gorilla Garage!

This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any business. STAY AWAY unless you want to be screwed out of your 1/3 down deposit. They make you put down a 1/3 of the price upfront and then dick you around until you get frustrated and then refuse to give your money back. I am writing this review about my experience with Gorilla Garage in Cincinnati, OH. I will be leaving it also on the Gorilla Garage page in Sarasota and also on the Gutter Shutter page in Ohio since all three of these businesses are owned by the same person. Their policy is to not talk to you unless your spouse is present, tell you a price that is only good right now and then has you sign a contract that says you have only 3 days to cancel and you have to do so by registered mail. Cancel the contract via registered mail within 3 days! Once they get your money down, the real fun starts. My journey began on 3/7/2018 when the salesman gave us three prices that went up as time went on. I was skeptical but when my wife said she would pay for half of it, we signed up. The salesman and I agreed that it was contingent on us finding a color we liked as we did not like any of the samples he had with him. We were to go to Cincinnati to look at colors and was scheduled for install on 5/8/2018. We looked at all the colors and was told we could customize the colors. We picked one of their colors but wanted to take away a percentage of black and add in the same percentage of silver and glitter. We waited for the sample to come in the mail for two weeks and then called. Mike told us that he forgot to order them. We got the samples in the mail a week later and they were not even close to what we wanted. We requested samples 8 more times over the next 2 and a half months, missed our install date and never received a sample of the color we were after. I asked Mike to refund my deposit and we would be done. He said no problem. From that point forward, Mike was always in a meeting or out of the office and I could leave a voice mail. Two months later received a call from Jenifer who informed me that Mike was no longer with the company and she was ready to schedule our install. I explained to her that Mike was supposed to be getting me a refund and that we canceled the contract. She said she would get us the refund and it would take 60 days to put It back on our credit card. I said just send me a check and she said it would still take two to three weeks. Three weeks later she called me back and said she was clearing some things off her desk and wanted to know if we could schedule the install. I said you were supposed to be getting me a refund and she backtracked and then told me that John is the one that does refunds and she would have him get in touch with me. John called and told me that I signed a contract and had only three days to cancel and they do not do refunds. Did I say are just going to keep my money? I told him that I had an email from Mike that stated that I would get a full refund if they could not get the color I was requesting, and John asks me to email him a copy of it. I did this on 12/13/2018and that is the last time I got to talk to John. For the last two months, I have called Gorilla Garage and Gutter Shutter asking to speak to John but he will not answer his phone or return a call. I then decided to find out who the owner is and found out that Dan is the owner and is at their Sarasota location. I called and asked to speak to him nearly every day for two weeks and HE never answers or returns calls despite my repeated requests.

This product is different and better than most that are out there. You can do it yourself, cheaper but you know where that gets you in the long run. You do get what you pay for and this job is warranted for as long as I own the house and transferrable within 15 years. I’m still surprised that they came from Cincinnati to Grove City to do this job, but they do go even further!!!! Every contact was informed, intelligent about their job, and respectful of me and my questions. They take only a few hours and the time the floor is not usable is dramatically reduced from other, less reputable firms.
