About us

Growing up in rural Wisconsin, hard work and craftsmanship were a way of life. From the early days working on dairy farms, in the ginseng fields, and at a local lumber company, I’ve always enjoyed building, fixing, and learning how things work. After graduating college, I spent years in leadership roles at multi-billion-dollar companies — gaining valuable experience in reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail. But my true passion has always been hands-on work. Over the years, I’ve remodeled homes, tackled countless repair projects, and have always enjoyed showing my son how to use tools and take pride in a job well done. At My Handyman Wade, I treat your home like it’s my own. Whether it’s fixing, building, or improving your space, I take pride in delivering honest, high-quality work with care and precision.

Had 4 odd jobs to be done. 2 doors that needed trim/adjustment to close (new carpeting). Needed handrail extended for special needs child. Finally repair of kitchen/Dining room swinging door that was off its hinges. Came on time and did repairs within one day. Held to his quoted price. very good work.

Super responsive, showed up on time and completed all jobs discussed to perfection. Very friendly, courteous and willing to take on multiple requests! He was also very neat and kept projects tidy that required multiple visits. I would most definitely recommend him and I have already shared his name with several neighbors. I feel confident that I’ll be using him again for the next project that sneaks up!

Wade was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He hung some bathroom cabinets and some heavy laundry cabinets and did a fantastic job. He also fixed my kitchen faucet. I highly recommend him.

I can’t say enough good things about My Handyman Wade. He’s prompt, professional, and truly trustworthy and these are qualities that are hard to find these days. He tackled everything from the simple (like hanging pictures and fixing small things around the house) to the more complex, like installing new flooring and did it all with precision and care. What stood out most was how dependable and detail-oriented he is. He shows up when he says he will, keeps things tidy, and makes sure every job is done right. It’s such a relief to find someone you can count on for any project, big or small. I’ll definitely be hiring him again and recommending him to everyone I know.
