Luxury Vinyl Flooring Installation (Materials Provided by Consumer)
Do not hire this company! We hired them 2 years ago to do a full bottom floor Reno, spending over $100k, including all new floors. We are now paying another company over $10k to pull it all out and do it correctly. They laid luan on top of a concrete slab and then put a plastic sheet between the concrete, wood and LVP, creating the perfect environment for mold. All of our LVP was cracking and sagging and now we understand why, the wood touching the concrete was absorbing all of the condensation and trapping it under plastic. The photos show all of the mold that was under our flooring after only 2 years!!
We reached out to Keno and asked them to fix their mistake and they said it wasn't their responsibility 2 years after install. They do not stand by their work!
Don't make the same costly mistake we made. Find someone who knows what they are doing. As a military veteran myself, this company takes advantage of those who serve. I suggest supporting other veteran owned companies.

I am a disabled veteran. I would NOT recommend this company after my experience with MJOAT. I ended up having to hire another company to come correct errors made by this company found during a home inspection and finish the project as well. I still have the inspection report and can post it if needed. After my experience, I would NEVER refer this company to ANYONE! They placed a lien on my property before completing the project, then removed the lien when I filed a formal complaint with DPOR. Consider yourselves warned.

We took on a project that none of your other contractors would touch, we worked with the city through the beginning of covid19, city shut downs, we literally went above and beyond at your project and you havent EVEN paid us for the completion of the project to this date. Vinyl Siding - Install or Completely Replace
We waited about 7 months before writing a review to give the project time to see if there would be any problems. We had a small problem with a gutter and we contacted Travis and he sent out someone to fix it right away. We had new siding, new construction windows, had the windows custom wrapped, and a new door. Everything looks amazing and we couldn't be more pleased. From the start Travis has been top notch, continuously taking care of every little question and issue that came up before the work was done, while the work was being done, and afterwards. The siding and window installers were wonderful. I can not say enough about this company. If you want a contractor that really cares about the customer and quality of their work then I recommend Jack Of All Trades!!!

I needed a full remodel on a townhouse in the Spartan Village area on a tight timeline. When you're looking for a profession, efficient and rapid communication service to have your personal and investment needs fulfilled, this is the company you go to. The first to reply to my SOW with a detailed quote in a time where everyone else was too "bogged down" with work to provide the same timely service. Work started the day after my response confirming my followthrough of their invoice. To say that a full remodel (including 1200 sq. ft flooring, retexture/pain walls and ceilings, full remodel of kitchen, subfloor repair in upstairs bathroom, trimming for the whole property and lighting fixtures) was completed in two weeks is remarkable. Looking forward to working with My Jack of All Trades in the very near future.

This was one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor. Keno was on top of everything. He is great to work with. His workers are so efficient and pleasant. They work towards making this an enjoyable experience as well as great work. I love my new roof . it is gorgeous nd makes my town home look great. In addition they were so efficient so that I did not have to worry about any disturbance to my close neighbors. I just can't say enough about this company. You can't go wrong in using them

I do not know about how the actual roofing job is yet but who does know for awhile. I have a few complaints, some worse than others. The clean up job was atrocious. I picked up 8 roofing nails in my driveway after they left and then twice that many alongside my driveway. They are still washing out of the gutter downspouts. There was plenty of tar paper left all over the place. They also damaged my wife s computer cable which she makes her living on, disregarding it as they roofed. This is not really my complaint here though. When the roofers were on the roof over our bedroom, one of them said to another about my wife, the ugly woman with the dog. My wife was very upset that someone would say something like that about her. She was wise enough to not tell me for about two weeks. She will not ever forget what was said though. Now I sent a email after I learned about this to the owner telling him about what had been said and asked him that he might see fit to come over and apologize to her and I also gave him my wifes cell phone number to call her. Well, she never heard anything from him. I would say no matter what kind of a job his business does, I would suggest never doing business with him. He plays on the fact he was a vet and has a vet owned business, but I and my wife are vets also as are a overwhelming amount of people in the area. That does not mean you are a good person with good employees. He has no reciprocity and I would not hire someone like that. By not responding to my email shows me he does not care squat about his customers. Find someone else who is not an axx!

My wife and I recently used MJOAT to install new vinyl siding on our home. Everything from initial estimate to installation could not have gone more smoothly. Our project manager Keino, was courteous, prompt, knowledgeable, and always available to answer any questions/concerns we had. After having negative experiences with other contractors/companies in the past, it was such a relief to work with a company that holds itself to such high standards. I will definitely recommend My Jack of All Trades to anyone needing work done to their home and MJOAT is the only company I will work with on future projects. A huge thank you to them for such an amazing job!!

It went well, they actually were on time. They were professional. I worked with the owner and he was always reachable for any questions and concerns and touch the time to articulate to me because I had little understanding of siding. He walked me through the process and was knowledgeable and allowed me to do price comparisons. We worked on a price that was suitable for me and my family. The results of the work are something I would advocate for others to do because the work was that professional. Overall, I would give them an A only because that is how much you advise me, it was much more than that, just because of how he treated us. He was just a good dude and a good person. I would use him again.

If youâ re a Hampton Roads homeowner shopping for quality siding work look no further than â My Jack of All Tradesâ . They were very helpful and willing to work with me knowing that I reside In NC. Visually the left side of my home looked like the vinyl siding was ripped, missing panels, and generally in disrepair. After the old siding was removed a major hidden structural framing deficiency was found at the home by the project manager Mr. Okeino which required the expertise of his framing crew. Mr. Okeino kept me apprised of the new siding progress and even sent me before, during, and job complete photos. I couldnâ t be happier with how the new siding looks and Iâ m relieved to know that a major house damaging issue was repaired. Jack of All Trades provided me with a fair project cost as well as a very reasonable change order cost for the framing repair. Within days of my signing the contract Mr. Okeino and his crew were at my home making the repairs and tackling the project. I highly recommend Jack of All Trades for all your home projects and renovations. This is an honest, trustworthy company that will not gouge you of your hard earned money. I plan to use Mr. Okeino and his crew again for my laundry list of home projects.

Exterior Trim Installation and Replacement
Company replaced all exterior trim, fascia/soffit wrap, gutters, downspouts, porch w/structural columns, built both new hand rails.. Employees were nothing but professional and did work beyond my expectations. Would recommend to anyone for quality and especially value.

I can honestly say this was the best decision i made to complete my project. Keino is very reliable, punctual and very professional. We hired Okeino because of his excellent reviews. He talks a great talk and seems like a really decent guy, that is, until there is an issue. Our issue was that we were very particular about the roof color due to matching the garage, shutters, and Florida room to the roof. He knew this. Selecting from the product samples, we rejected colors because of how they looked installed using his photos, not the sample photos. We picked the darkest black shingles, however in the sun-light, the roof looks grey. According to Okeino that was because of our roof pitch and **I am under no obligation to let you know that** So, yes, the buck stops after the deposit is made and the contract is signed. As soon as we saw the color of the roof going up, we took a picture in disbelief and tried to stop the process. The problem becomes according to the contract we signed, everything falls upon us. We have never had to replace a roof before. We did not know the particulars of roof pitch impacting the color. In every other product and service you purchase, you expect to get what you order from the samples, displays, etc. In this case, it is all your fault. The only thing covered in the contract that he is responsible for the actual work performed, and only if you get it inspected by him yearly. If you fail any of the terms of the contract, you are left with no warranty. So buyer beware. Also, his crew was using our backyard as a toilet, which we did ask to inform them to please stop. We are still finding nails and other sharp pieces of metal flashing and etc. in our yard. If you have pets, the clean-up was less than acceptable. It was a wonderful experience until we saw the roof color. Okeino was extremely affable until that happened. Then the customer experience was a complete nightmare. Our options were either we continue as is or pretty much double the price and start over. The roof itself and the skylight replaced appears to have no issues with leaks. Dorian came and went with no apparent issue. So, unfortunately, I am going to be that guy that says caveat emptor. Read the fine print in the contract. Make sure you see photos of the roof you want as he has installed it. I am also quite positive Okeino is going to reply, so you will get his side of the story too.

"We went above and beyond doing things on your home and your rear roof that leaned into your flat roof that would have held a charge at other roofing companies of almost $1,500 that we did for free because it was the right thing to do and you never mentioned this. The truth of the matter is that we ordered you the darkest brand of shingles in the market and that's what you asked for, you picked the brand and you picked the color. We cannot control what it looks like on your slope of the roof when the Sun hits it. We wish you success and wellness."

It took a little under two weeks which actually really surprised me. I had spoken with a local contractor who told me 5-7 weeks and was using only one helper. Did not feel comfortable with that. Especially not having a kitchen for 7 possible weeks. I would absolutely recommend My Jack of All Trades to anyone considering a remodel. Thanks again guys!

My wife and I were very impressed with the level of professionalism received from My Jack of All Trades. We had our kitchen completely demo'd, added all soft close cabinets, a beautiful countertops, against a nice backsplash. My kitchen hadn't been remodeled in over 20 years, so adding all the tiered cutlery drawers, pull out trays, and swing out pantry completely transformed and organized our kitchen space. It was perfect! They were detailed, and took pride in their work and we really appreciated that. They were very accommodating with schedules and communication was done in a timely manner.

I am so happy I chose My Jack of All Trades to remodel my kitchen. The kitchen designer, Sean, came up with such a beautiful design. Plus, my kitchen is much more functional now. I have a really unique situation that could have made my remodel difficult. I live in VA part time, Florida part time and NY as well. Had been looking for what seemed like forever to remodel my VA house kitchen. I had a very limited amount of time to get my remodel done, and the crew at My Jack of All Trades was top notch. Keino was patient and went the extra mile to assure everything would go smoothly from his initial visit. They stuck to their word and completed my kitchen in three weeks and it came out amazing! Keino was informative and easily accessible during this process. I was very hesitant to hire a general contractor, after having a bad experience once before. The fact that My Jack of All Trades has its own crew and doesn't use sub contractors for any aspect of the work was reassuring. Really just want to say thank you for making this a pleasant experience. Would highly recommend.
