Excellent Service. Their plumber, Genti, who came out was very professional and did a great job. I had used them once before and I am glad that I called them back - Genti came through again.

They preach that they charge by the job not by the hour. But, they consider every part of the job to be a separate job and charge. Unfortunately, you are already into the repair and stuck with paying the additional charge so the job gets completed. I feel a by the hour job would have much cheaper.

Their technician Genti was very professional. I am very pleased with their service and will definitely use them again, if and when the need arises.

The technician who came to our house was Genti Paceli and I have to say, for any projects going forward, we're asking for him by name. He was very quick (amazingly so), polite, and professional. This was our first time using My Plumber and if Mr. Paceli is any indication of their overall team, then I will definitely recommend them as a company.

Service man suggested to try a repair instead of replacing shower faucet. Fortunately, he could repair the shower faucet at a lower cost than replacing it.

The service man called and asked what the problem was. On the phone he had me go to the furnace, check a switch, diagnosed the problem and told me how to fix it, saving a service call. He was great, called back to check and make sure everything was working properly. He was great!

I would never recommend this company unless you have money and time to throw away. Unfortunately, I got them through HomeaAdvisor. I only needed my dry vent hose replaced and I purchased all the necessary parts needed for the installation, new vent hose, clips, ducting tape, etc.. I was told they would come in and do an assessment and leave to purchase items if needed, so I did that in advance, thinking I would save time and money. It took an hour for a 20 to 30 minute job and I was charged an excessive $195.00 which was a military discount from $215.00, basically $100.00 per 30 minutes. I could have done it myself but I wanted to ensure it was correct since I am renting and I definitely would have used the tape for the wall connection which the tech did that anyway. I would think a true professional could have done that job quicker at a fair price. This company should only provide HVAC service because that is how their prices and survey is tailored. I called (703-457-1226) this morning concerned about being over charged in inquiring about a fair price. I was asked, "Wasn't the service provided"? Then I was told they do not have handyman prices. Apparently they have no concern with providing a reasonable price for the actual work performed. This company should not accept handyman jobs if they do not indent to charge customers fair prices for smaller jobs. I hope HomeAdvisor will do better for customers, because this was absolutely unacceptable. HomeAdvisor has reached out to me and are addressing this situation! That is Awesome!

Very good experience all the way through the project. The results are excellent. We would consider this company for future projects. They cost more then competitors, but there is a lot to be said for a dependable contractor and a beautiful remodel job.

Summary: Very professional performance, onerous cost. Tech was professional and knowledgeable; completed job in 1/2 hour. I provided parts (because I happened to have them). However, price was excessive at $381 for simple cut and screw repair. I am an aerospace engineer with advanced degrees and part of a team designing and implementing state of the art stealth capabilities in fifth generation fighter aircraft. I doubt I or anyone on my team will ever see a salary of $760/hour (equates to $1,520,000.00 per 2000 hour man year). Clearly, simple plumbing is the career to be in and to heck with real science. I can and will do this job myself in future.

Mr.Richard was very polite and listened to customer needs. The price of water heater was very pricy but I was very satisfied with the work he's done.
